This place is amazing. I am renting violin for past 4 years for my son. Anytime, we had any issue or he graduated to next size, they accommodated us quickly. 5 star for customer service and quality of product.

Supper kind and generous with their time. I got a free lesson. I really appreciated Andrew and Kevin they showed me many instruments and chin rests. As I was leaving the luthier Matt introduced himself to me and we had a great conversation! This is a trustworthy business. I highly recommend them. They take their time and ate very encouraging to new players and professionals.

Atlanta Violins is like a family--it's very important to have a good relationship with your luthier/shop, and it's very hard to get it wrong here. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and good at what they do. Pricing is extremely reasonable, and the instruments are excellent. If you know what you want, they are happy to accommodate; if you're new, they are helpful and won't take advantage.

Unlike many shops, they are not pretentious and don't expect you to drop names to get good service. There are other excellent shops in the Atlanta area, and it's worth shopping around for the right instrument and the right service. Atlanta Violins is a fantastic choice, especially for student instruments and repair/restoration work.

This violin shop is hands down the best shop! The people working are extremely helpful and honest! I had a great experience there! Totally recommended!

I'm a freelance musician and teacher in the Atlanta and Atlanta Violins is my go-to! I send all my students here for rentals. Atlanta Violins specializes in string instruments and you will get a well maintained and properly set-up instrument from them. The staff is amazing and SO helpful! My wife and I have been patrons of this shop for years and have always had excellent service. Matt and his repair team do exceptional repair work, and are very kind and helpful. My wife is a violin instructor of 13 years and always recommends her students go here for violin purchases, rentals, and repairs. Amazing service! They responded to me very promptly and were very helpful on the violin I would need. They work with you to schedule a time to pick up your instrument and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

True customer service seems to be a failing concept, so when I do receive OUTSTANDING customer service, I'm compelled to share! Our daughter just started 6th grade at a new school and showed interest in playing the violin in the school orchestra. Her father & I had been so busy trying to set her up with everything else and had no clue about violins.what type to get her, sizing, etc. and everything would need to be done over the weekend so she could start orchestra Monday with her instrument. Whew!

We contacted Atlanta Violins and spoke with Andrew. He was so kind, helpful, & truly passionate about music.so refreshing! He spent the time on the phone to answer all of our questions and helped us step by step with our rental. We live a good distance from the store and he even offered to stay after hours on Saturday for us to pick up the instrument.

While at the store, he took his time to select the right size violin for our daughter, explain the parts of the instrument and care. And assured us that he would be there for any additional questions moving forward. I keep mentioning TIME because everyone seems to be so rushed these days.but Andrew's true service to ensure the customer was comfortable & satisfied was top notch & greatly appreciated from newbie violin parents. We highly recommend Andrew at Atlanta Violins!

We are long time customers of Atlanta Violins. Yesterday, we were helped by a wonderful gentleman named Ehsan. He was absolutely amazing! No real surprise there because everyone we have worked with at Atlanta Violins has been truly exceptional! We came in to the shop because our son's bow needed repairs. Ehsan greeted us warmly, listened to our explanation, examined the bow carefully, discussed some options, and then exceeded our expectations in reparing the bow. We appreciated his attention to detail and excellent workmanship. Once more, we are very satisfied customers!

I can see why they have such high ratings. The staff were kind and helpful from the beginning to end. I texted this morning and got a response within 30 minutes to coordinate a time. I appreciate that they require masks and make every effort to keep their lobby as socially distanced as possible. Their rental policy and pricing seem reasonable to me. They also get bonus points for having a sweet dog mascot.

My daughters started orchestra in the 4th grade and continued through the 11th grade. When looking for a rental option for a violin, we were directed to Atlanta Violins in Roswell. We were able to rent a violin for one of my daughters and obtain upgrades to larger violins as she outgrew each instrument. After we had rented a violin for some time, we were able to apply the rental money towards the purchase of a violin for her.

My daughter graduated from high school a few years back, and she recently decided she wanted to play her old violin again. We took it into Atlanta Violin, and they made a number of minor modifications for free. They only charged us to re-hair the bow. Matt was the person who helped us, and he provided great customer service. He is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.

In addition, they are taking extra precaution to avoid the spread of COVID-19. They require face masks, and they check the temperatures of everybody who enters the store. If you are looking to rent or purchase an instrument, I would definitely recommend visiting Atlanta Violins in Roswell.

The staff was super nice! I purchased a new violin and I was given plenty of time and privacy while making my decision. I really enjoyed my visit and it was a bonus treat to meet the company dog -Libby!

You cannot go wrong with going to Atlanta Violins. Very friendly staff WITH A LOT OF KNOW HOW! It doesn't matter what you need. Rehairing bows? Check! Issues with your instrument? Check! Need a case? Check! Easy to get to check!

Our family had an absolutely incredible experience at Atlanta Violins. They treat you like their own family, not pressuring a purchase in any way but taking their time to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the instrument in consideration. They go above and beyond to ensure that you are well taken care of and we were blown away by their generosity. Andrew was incredibly exceptional and made the process of choosing an instrument for purchase absolutely enjoyable.

I picked up two wonderful violins for a home trial. Although I didn't end up choosing either of them solely because of personal preferences, I enjoyed the whole experience and their service is outstanding. Amazing service! I went to exchange my rental, and they took care of all the cost specifics by presenting me with 3 options within my equity. Only 32 over! Ryan was SO helpful and kind, and explained how to take care of my new instrument. You can tell their top priority is the customers satisfaction, not making money. Definitely recommend this adorable and wonderful place!

I was gifted a family violin from the early 1900's that had a crack in a peg hole in the scroll that needed repaired. Ehsan and Matt did a wonderful repair job. They did a "cheek" patch and it looks great! Also, the tail piece broke and Ehsan was able to repair it. I would highly recommend Atlanta Violins for any repair work on stringed instruments.

They have repaired antique violins within a week and for a reasonable cost. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and courteous! I will definitely return in the future!

I've had my bows rehaired there and they got a great selection of cellos and cello cases ( I bought a bamcase from them) can't go wrong with this shop!

Just got my daughters first v iolin here Matt helped us. They are super resonable with price. If you have a child who wants to play violin and maybe dont have enough to purchase a new violin i highly recommend coming here. They rrplace strings with their rentals and have all needed supplies.

They are phenomenal! We have been leasing with them for more than a decade and their service is exceptional. It's no wonder why musicians/students from other states drive here to avail their service. Martha is beyond exceptional. She is very patient, honest and knowledgeable with their instruments. Her attitude is very inspiring. She will find ways to get what you want/need without rushing or putting pressure. This store only sells quality instruments within your budget and has the best trade in policy.

Very helpful and friendly place and of course well stocked. I purchased first cello for my son had a choice of few dozen cello's. We had an appointment set Megan spent May be 2 hours with us we tried at least 7 cellos to settle own one! We got to take the cello for approval for a week and to make final decision, portion of rental credit was applied at the purchase.

I did not buy a hard case in the store I thought they were little pricey for the selection that was available. Overall the purchase experience was excellent! I will recommend this place to any one interested in servicing or buying violin family instruments!

OMG.my son was in heaven. The previous reviews were right in that these people know their stuff! My son was there to get new strings for his cello and they were so knowledgable in helping him find the right combo that would work with both the sound and our budget. They were very honest too on what to splurge on and what not to. My son had done a ton of research before hand so he totally agreed with everything they had said.

If you come, you have to check out all of the instruments they have throughout the rest of the "house". They were all gorgeous! All different price points too. The icing on the cake was they let my son play any cello he wanted to try out something different than what he owns. He had a blast! We will be for sure coming back when it comes time to upgrade!

I am a raw beginner and was in the market for a new violin bow. I had no idea what to look for and didn't have a lot of confidence in my ear to hear the difference between bows. Martha, who helped me, was amazing! She took lots of time for me to hear each bow and she was very patient. I also rented a violin a few months earlier and the staff there has always been wonderful and helpful. I would recommend Atlanta violins to anyone! And if you're a beginner, they don't make you feel like such a beginner!
