One of the employees spoke with my friend for 40 minutes about what they have to offer, answering all the "dumb" questions with the utmost respect. These guys are straight up honest, yet eager to cultivate the next musician who wants to learn their stringed instrument. Props to Harry's. They are a classy establishment, and they make you feel welcomed and wanted.
These guys are professional, not just in the arena of musicianship (which they certainly are), but in customer service as well. Our on-site staff provide services ranging from set ups to re-frets, fix broken headstocks and handle mods and repairs.

It's no secret that Breedlove instruments have a unique look, feel, and sound. When it comes to the look of Breedlove, what may appear to be simply aesthetically innovative design is actually a triumph of science and sound engineering. Early on, Breedlove re-engineered the acoustic guitar by re-envisioning the ways each and every component contributes to the overall sound. It's what goes into a Breedlove that truly delivers unparalleled distinctively crafted sound.
Founded in 1997, Cordoba seeks to guide the evolution of the nylon string guitar, blending traditional craftsmanship of the early master luthiers with modern developments. Inspired by the organic beauty and honesty of acoustic instruments, every Cordoba is lightweight, responsive, and a direct descendant of the Spanish tradition.

I am admittedly sometimes a difficult musician to work with - I'm resistant to change, I'm picky with things like picks/strings and the type of gear I use, and I generally am unwilling to compromise. I come to Harry's because Terry Dineen does AMAZING work. I bring guitars of all type to him for setups, restrings, minor repair work, and hardware changes.
He is an absolute professional, always wearing a smile, and is extremely knowledgeable about gear. The man is also a luthier with some amazing pieces on Reverb. That said, Harry's staff are great people, not to be outdone. They have a decent variety in their products, have ample time to offer recommendations (even if the product isn't something they carry or can order) and generally have your needs as their focus. Any time I want new gear of any kind, I will come here first and see if I can get it through them before going online.

I came in hoping to have a regular setup and cleaning done to my guitar but the staff told me I would have to leave my guitar for 3-4 weeks before they could work on it. This doesn't work for my schedule and I find it hard to believe it would work for many regularly playing musicians. The didn't even look at it to see the extent of the repairs and tried to claim that all shops in the area would have a similar backlog.
Even if there was a backlog, surely there could be an appointment system so I wouldn't be without my guitar for so long. Luckily, they were wrong and Music and Arts at Crossroads was able to work on my guitar that day.

Purchased a Gold Tone OB-150 a few months back and couldn't be happier with the experience. First of all, they actually had banjos in stock, which seems to be rare these days. The staff was very patient and courteous, allowing this rank beginner time to get the feel for several instruments, and taking the time to answer my questions. I live 80 miles from the store, but try to stop by when I can. Each time I've been there I've found the store well-stocked and well-staffed.
