This place is the best! A few years ago I shopped extensively for a new grand piano. My teacher recommended I check out what they had and found a used Kawai that I love. Recently I noticed the lacquer on the bottom of the music desk peeling. I contacted the owner of the store, Joe who visited my home and inspected the problem. He quickly offered to repair it and I picked it up at his shop yesterday.

Even though the piano was used, he covered it under a warranty and there was no charge. This is spectacular service considering the age of the piano. I should also mention that his prices are very competitive.

I met Joe Woods because I was in search of a piano hinge for a woodworking project. I went to his workshop and he showed me around. He was kind enough to take the time to show me some of the absolutely beautiful pianos and explain some of the mechanics and history behind them. Really fascinating work. I am thrilled to have found an incredible piano that can keep up with me at Woods and Son. Recently moving to Las Vegas, I was in the market for a piano that was bigger than my current but also one that was more dynamic in sound and allowed myself and students to explore a myriad of tones and colors. I also needed a piano built with excellent craftsmanship that could withstand a very dry climate. Joe only sells quality pianos that are very carefully maintained.

I sampled multiple pianos at Joe's showroom and was "called" to one almost immediately. He was extremely professional, honest and easy to talk to. Working with Joe Woods was a pleasure! He has a wide variety of excellent pianos. I've shopped most of the piano stores in the Denver metro area and found varying results from them, however, when you go to Joe's place you know that the pianos are going to be excellent! Not to mention that he sells a couple of the absolute best piano brands made, Bluthner and August Forster.

I think it would be difficult to find a better group of pianos than what Joe has. I bought a brand new August Forster 190, and the whole process has been enjoyable.
