Brought in a flu and they ended up breaking the weld on one of the keys so I only got $10 off of it cuz I knew if I try to sell it somewhere else I would get nothing after they did that. Saw it happened right in front of me, not even I'm sorry from them. Just a well we can give you $10 for it because the weld is broken after standing and waiting for 30 minutes with my hyper artistic child for another person to show up because the first person wasn't experienced with flutes.

I completely understand selling or purchasing, as predicated on profit margin, and or depreciation, but these guys don't know musical instruments from their butts. At the very least, the skinny guy with glasses, is either completely incompetent, or is a ridiculous liar. If a potential customer tells you more about an item than you know, don't try to bulls**t them to save face or make (lose) a few hundred bucks. 100% of zero is zero. Go to another pawnshop, guitar center, or even Reverb. They will have what you want, and you'll probably get a better deal (either selling OR purchasing).

These guys are the absolute best! Staff are knowledgeable, patient, and polite. Wide range of equipment and gear at good prices. The owners seem to genuinely care about musicians and music. I've bought guitars, cables, pedals, and stands from them and have been satisfied each time, excellent customer service. Please avoid corporate music stores like guitar center and shop at Briz instead.

The staff was immensely helpful in picking out my first guitar and setting me up with a few to try out. The prices are pretty reasonable, especially considering with my purchase they gave me two free lessons. Seems like a solid place to go if you're just starting and want to get your first guitar for practice. I'm not really sure what this place would offer a more experienced musician, but that's more to do with my ignorance than their lack of service.

Really nice place to buy good used guitars (with cases:-). I already got two guitars from this store and am really happy with quality and price! The best part is that you can play any guitar and compare it to any other right in the store. Assortment updates from time to time so if you visited once and did not find what you were looking for, make sure to come in again a bit later. Very nice staff! The only negative is that they offer only in-store credit for returns.

Andrew and Nathan were very helpful and friendly. I came in with a few questions about repairs and pricing, they instructed me how to repair it myself so I wouldn't have to pay. I bought replacement strings, pins, and some guitar strength. For under $10. They have a great selection and great customer service, I was satisfied with my experience

Best place around for used equipment. I have bought lots of guitars and equipment there. They never steered me wrong. Also, I was once looking for a particular guitar and asked that they call me if one came in. They called 3 weeks later and I bought the guitar I was looking for at a great price. It is still my main guitar. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for used equipment.

Have tons of perfectly playable used gear. They don't always have what I'm looking for but if you go in enough usually something catches your eye. Have to jump on stuff because it'll move fast if it's a hot ticket item. Was looking for a boost pedal a couple months ago. They didn't have anything interesting for a month or 2 then I went in one day and they had 3 boutique boost pedals. All reasonably priced. I was very happy with the one I purchased. Went back the next week and them remaining ones were gone.

By far my favorite music store in the Portland area. Very laid back and friendly and a really killer selection of used equipment. Being an electronic musician I am always impressed with the synths and effects in store. Right across the river in downtown Vancouver, quick drive from Portland, and well worth it. No place else with such a great selection of cool old gear.
