People seem to have no problem tuning their guitar every time they play it, accepting this as normal while at the same time, after several years, wonder if it is time to tune the piano yet. The piano was moved without any damage to the piano and on time. However, upon arriving to the property, they insisted that they were going to back their moving truck through the rainsoaked front yard (days of rain) so that they didn't have to lift the piano up 3 stairs. The person letting them in said, "They wouldn't take 'no' for an answer". It is a Kawai CS11 which is not incredibly heavy if you have the right equipment and 2 people.
This was during a move to a new house that has septic, so I'm hoping that none of the septic lines run in the front yard, otherwise this move might have costed me a Steinway amount of money.

What can I say about Fretter's? They truly saved the day for me when I moved to Nashville. Originally I booked Top Rank Movers and they assured me they moved pianos - 2 hours before I arrived in Hendersonville, they decided that my particular piano was too much for them to move. I called Mr. Fretter and he agreed to meet me at my new apartment and do the job.
He and an associate showed up and had my 52 Yamaha Professional Upright up a flight of stairs and in my second floor apartment within 10 MINUTES! I have never seen anyone move a piano of this size with such ease. I was amazed. I will use Fretter's services for as long as I live in this area.
