MIRC began in 1993 with the idea of solving 2 major problems in the Music Products industry. The first problem was on the manufacturing side. Since every manufacturer has instruments that do not pass inspection, many of them ended up in a landfill. Now, MIRC purchases all of these distressed instruments and refurbishes them, allowing them a second chance at making beautiful music! The second problem was on the retail end. Many stores struggled to find quality instruments to sell at prices their customers could afford.
In this episode we traveled to the Gibson Garage in downtown Nashville to talk with Director of Brand Experience for. In this episode we sat down with Charlton Moore of Tonal Music Inc. - home of well known brands Franklin. In this episode, we sat down with Mike McAfee, Buyer and Sales Manager of Maxwell's House of Music!
MIRC has given our store the ability to stock high quality guitars and basses at a great price point. More importantly it has allowed us to stock the same model over and over, something you can't do if you are depending only on your pawn inventory for sales. Coming to MIRC, having the opportunity to meet the staff, was a really good experience in terms of understanding the culture of what the company is about. There is a reason why MIRC has been around for over 20 years. I'm looking forward to many years to come.
