A spherical foam rubber head produces a warm, full bass tone on Cajon with just the right amount of attack. Think outside the "box" and try it out on your bass drum, too! The KDB-BP Bass Drum Beater is built with a smaller wooden core covered with wool, a multi-ply yarn wrap, and a steel shaft. Wood shaft distributes weight for a unbelievable sense of balance and throw. The VKB5 unlocks a sense of touch and control that is simply not attainable with other beaters on the market.
Easy to use drum/cymbal gel dampening system to control unwanted over ring and tone. Buzz Kill Extra Dry features more weight and mass, great for getting that funky, super-flat snare drum sound. The t-TAB is a drumhead tone modifier that makes it easy to "fine-tune" the tone and resonance of any drum, in any room, for any playing situation.
This drum key from Yamaha is great for use with drum sets, concert toms, and concert snare drums. Features a small hole for attaching to a keychain. The TMT9 Multi Tool houses an array of useful tools every drummer should have at their disposal, including a variety of hex wrenches, drum key sockets, a Phillips screwdriver, and more!
Evans SoundOff Mutes significantly reduce volume while you practice on your traditional drum set. Evans SoundOff Cymbal Mutes significantly reduce volume while you practice on your traditional drum set.

My first time in the store was to pick up a kick drum head. I'm a guitar player. Staff was welcoming, store was very organized. Lots of cool drums, cymbals and percussion instruments.

Very rare you find a genuine music store like Fork's with salesman who are knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. Fork's in an absolutely must stop shop for any drummer passing through Nashville. Found me exactly what I needed in my price range without stretching my budget

Always great people here. Was helped out today for a simple missing piece from my ride cymbal that caused me so much trouble. It's an older stand, and I could not find the crucial piece needed. My next resort was a c-clamp or new stand. I don't remember the guys name that helped me but I hope you know who you are. THANK YOU!

Love that they have a warehouse dedicated to percussion and people that KNOW their stuff! They have a great setup and I love that my daughter got to try her mallets out before purchasing them. Made me feel at ease about our purchase. We'll be back for sure. (The percussion place is not at the listed address- it's on Nolensville Pike, just FYI. Call to be sure.)

Nashville's drummers are so fortunate to have Fork's Drum Closet in their city. The selection of new and used percussion equipment is incredible. If you can't find it there, chances are you didn't want it. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help out on a personal level. Marshall was super helpful with my questions and they have made me a loyal customer. When I'm in Nashville, there my go to.

My S.O. Loves fork's and we've been here a few times; they love they they're able to test everything to make sure they receive exactly what they want. The last time we went in however there was a dog running around the store, which I didn't mind at first until it bit me multiple times. Nothing too harsh expect when it jumped up and grabbed a mouthful of my hair. No one seemed too concerned about it either. Please keep the dog in check.

Nice space to display the huge amount of products they have. The way the sun beamed in through the level two windows made the space feel like the drum treasure trove it is. We browsed for a while because you can find the coolest things. Can't wait to visit again.

This is one of my favorite drum shops in Nashville! The staff are great and they know their stuff. They even teach music lessons to students. I've never had anything but great service, even as I've traded in old gear for newer, lighter gear to lighten my load as life on the road transitions to less travel and more life at home with family and pivoting careers.

This business is one of the best I have seen. Professional, courteous, competitive on pricing and brings to market the what can I do to help attitude vs. the 'right on dude' where I don't know much and will fake my way thru this and not comfortable in dealing with someone my dads age. I am grateful to the new management and staff which seems to have left off at the same high level as the previous ownership. If a glad I found this high end group of professionals. Thank you

Known Gary since the early 80s. Looking forward to seeing the new store. I'm sure it's like Candyland

I've gone in multiple times, walked right up to the counter, and asked for some random type nut/bolt/screw/piece of hardware for a specific drum / drum accessory and they've gone and gotten it in about 30 seconds. The GOAT store for everything drum related.

We were in Nashville on Presidents' Day at 9 am and parked here to go across the street for 5 minutes to take pictures at a mural. The owner yelled at us saying that the parking was only for his store, even though there were probably 15 open spots. We understand, but he didn't even ask us if we were patronizing his establishment and was extremely rude.

I agree with Aaron B, if there were six or even seven stars, this place warrants it. There really is no better drum store in the world, or at least drum stores I've ever been to. When they opened up the back room, the place literally became Candyland. If you're a drummer, Fork's is a must-visit!

I wish I could give 6 stars, they're that helpful and knowledgeable. Been going here for 15 years and I live 100 miles away. If you're a drummer and don't like this place something's wrong with you and anyone who gives less than 5 stars is un-American

I came into the store after eating lunch at 12 South Taproom a week or two ago, looking for something to do. Being from Lafayette, IN I grew up going to a place called McGuire's Music, a hometown music store, and upon walking into the building it immediately brought back memories of McGuires, except instead of being all instruments, was just drums, which being that drums are the only instrument I can halfway play, I immediately felt at home.

The variety of drum sets in the back room, as well as all cymbal and snare closet had me really excited. Planning on being back once I have the money and space to put a drumset in, am in love with the place, and will shop nowhere else for my drumming needs from now on.

I've been shopping at Fork's since they were on Bransford at Iris. Gary and his team have probably talked me out of as much gear I didn't really need as they've sold me. For drummers and percussionists in Nashville. Fork's is unquestionably the place to go.

It's simple, if you need ANYTHING percussion related, go to Fork's. If they don't have it, they'll get it but it's rare that they don't have what you're looking for. The best part though is that whatever you are looking for, they have a range of that specific thing. So, from a ten dollar set of claves to a 30 dollar set of fiberglass claves or a 100 dollar snare drum to a 1200 dollar snare, they've got you covered. And they prices are on par with online places like wwbw and musician's friend.

Forks drum closet - I mean, what can I say. Lots, apparently. They have a killer selection ranging from Gretsch, Ludwig, to DW - Acoustic, electronic, percussion, you name it - its there. There is also a snare closet, which is probably my personal favorite room in the whole store. That's right - you read it correctly - there is an entire room dedicated to snares. Wow.

Selection aside, the dudes inside have helped me quite a few times select exactly what I needed. With Forks, you've got seasoned vets in your corner. Throw in a grade A selection of instructors, and BOOM. That's Forks Drum Closet. Right in the heart of 12 South with tons of coffee shops and restaurants around - you can't go wrong. Killin' it!
