Bob was the only person on Roland's/Boss's service webpage in my area (Worcester MA) who responded to my call and email about fixing a broken power supply input on my RC-300 Loop Station. He clearly explained his deposit system (he charges a non-refundable fee of $45 for analysis, and if the job is possible, he applies that to the final cost) and cautiously and communicatively repaired my pedal in a reasonable time frame, aware that I need it to gig and wanting to get it back to me quickly. Great guy to know when a wicked important pedal has a hardware problem. Thanks Bob!

I brought in a simple piece of equipment and told him I thought it might need a new switch. He needs a deposit of $50 to even look at your problem- so I paid it. Weeks after he said he'd be in touch he called to say it was ready and I owed another $60. I went in and tested my equipment. It did not work. He didn't even look at the switch. He still charged me the extra money and I walked out feeling like I was robbed of $110. Later, I sent the equipment to the manufacturer in California who repaired it for $50 and got it back to me lightning fast. I should have done that to begin with. Avoid this guy like the plague.

Bob is the man! I brought an amp to him that had a variety of problems and he fixed them all perfectly. While going through my amp, he found other smaller issues and called me to see if I wanted to pursue those too and how much it would be. He was honest about the price and did a phenomenal job and in a couple weeks I had a great amp again. I will definitely go to him in the future with my gear! Be patient and you will be happy.
