FAN TAS TIC music shop! Exactly how a music shop should be, walls lined with instruments and friendly knowledgeable staff that Insist you play the instruments. Talked with several of the staff about different effects pedals and accessories for them I was looking for. Went in for a effect pedal and ended up Putting money down on a guitar. These guys literally have guitars I've never seen in my hometown in 30 years!

They've got no problem with letting you try instruments with different amp and pedal combinations and are extremely happy to accommodate you to do so. Wide variety of instruments from Gretcsch, Fender, Ibanez, vintage Tiescos from Japan, Schecter you name it! This place was a pleasure and I look forward to visiting it when I'm in town!

I have been coming to Atlanta Discount Music for years, and they have always provided outstanding service! They let you try out any guitar, amp, or pedal you want to for as long as you need, they are friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and provide great communication, and have competitive prices. I ordered an amp to be custom-made by the builder, and they told me it would be ready in 6 weeks, and the builder had it ready in 4; I was delighted! Highly recommended!

I've been coming to Atlanta Discount Music for years - best guitar shop on the north side of the perimeter IMHO. Super helpful and friendly people, great gear selection, and some seriously cool consignments that come through. I always go out of my way to drop by anytime I'm passing through Chamblee.

They have the best variety and selection of acoustic guitars, basses, cabinet speakers, and the wildest amplifiers. They carry boutique brands, sometimes local, and are my preferred dealer of Rickenbacker, Duesenberg and Charvel. Jimmy is great about CS and pickup talk.

Last year, I purchased a 1995 Rickenbacker 330 for a pretty decent bargain but soon found out as it arrived that the electronics were pretty rusted (especially the pickups) and the guitar could be in better shape. I dealt with it for a year, just thinking it couldn't really be fixed. However, out of nowhere, I came across some intonation issues and had no choice but to take it in. Setup was much cheaper than other shops I've been to for repairs and my jaw dropped when I opened the case yesterday after getting it back.

The guitar looks brand new, plays amazing, and sounds better than ever. All the rust, gone. I was floored and it made my entire week. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They do incredible work! Thank you guys so, so much.

Carter and Jimmy were both super helpful and friendly getting me set up with a new guitar. They were happy to answer all my questions and let me demo any of the equipment. I'll definitely check here first before I resort to any "big box" store.
