I have had a wonderful experience with Mike from the beginning. He was prompt in returning emails and calls when I was interested in the piano inventory. My beautiful Piano was delivered quickly and no damages occurred. Also prompt for the piano tuning, he contacted me first for the reminder. I hands down recommend his services. After months of searching through Facebook marketplace, bigger stores, and other avenues all throughout the NOCO area, I finally reached out to the Piano Dude (Mike). I wasted a lot of time and energy just as his website states because I was apprehensive to go an unconventional route. Given the spirit of 2020 I really wanted to support someone local and doing great work.

I noticed a great piano pop up on his website and when I asked the price, I was sold. The delivery, tuning, inspection, cleaning and the beautiful piano he brought me could never have been beat anywhere else. Mike sent me videos of him playing the piano and gave a great overview of its qualities. When he delivered our piano, it was even more beautiful than I had expected.

He was very professional, wore a mask, made sure my hardwood floors were not damaged, and even placed it in a couple of areas to make sure it was where I wanted it in the room. The piano of my little girl (and adult) dreams now lives in my living room thanks to the piano dude. After years of playing whatever used piano I could get my hands on, it was time to buy the piano I have always wanted. My husband and I spent several arduous months looking for a used grand or baby grand piano and continued to be disappointed in our finds.

Bought GC2 grand Yamaha piano from Piano Dude about a month ago, and could not be happier. Piano Dude (Mike) is very honest, professional, and keeps his promises. If you're in the market to buy a quality used piano, Mike is your dude! His process makes so much sense. He only buys specific brands, and only in this region, so you know you're getting a good piano. (We ended up with an upright Yamaha - great price point, and sounds/plays beautifully.) Mike makes purchasing a piano headache-free. he lets you go to his studio (uprights are in Fort Collins; grands are in Windsor) and play several different pianos that are in stock - with zero time constraints or any hint of sales pressure. He'll play for you, offer advice if you want it, is happy to show you the guts and/or imperfections of the piano. BEST PART: delivery and first tuning are included.

His prices are fair - on par with what we found online for the same model. (But who wants to mess with that?) It was an extremely easy, pleasant experience from start to finish. We're very happy with our new [lovingly used] piano!

After purchasing a used piano i knew i didn't want to move it myself, so i reached out to mike and within a few days the piano was safely in my home! i could not have asked for a better, more seamless experience!

Purchased a preowned baby grand piano for $7500 from him. 1 year later I was moving out of state and called him to see if he wanted to purchase it back and he said it was now only worth $3000. Wow! Pianos in perfect condition do not depreciate that significantly in one year. I ended up selling it for $5,000 to another buyer, but I'm not happy that I obviously was grossly overcharged and then lowballed by him. It makes me sick to my stomach!

I had a great experience dealing with Mike. He purchased my used piano. The awesome thing is that Mike actually paid me more than my asking price because he knew it was worth more, and did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They were slightly out of our original price range, but further research made me realize that I should go with someone who does the hard work for me. Piano Dude only acquires quality pianos that he thoroughly examines, confirming that they meet his strict standards.

His prices are very fair, he offers a one year warranty (something you won't get from a private seller), and his knowledge and expertise are exceptional. When we visited his shop in Windsor, he even had a play area for the kids while we examined the piano and discussed details. He offered us an extremely fair price that included delivery. We were very pleased with the professionalism he showed us throughout the process. I will be recommending Mike to anyone I know in the market for a piano. Top notch!

I found Piano Dude on craigslist and soon after sending a inquiry received a nice response back from the owner, Mike. On the phone, Mike walked me through his process of selecting one owner pianos and asked specific questions about how I played and what I wanted in a piano. A few days later I drove the 5.5 hours from Taos to Windsor to check on the six pianos Mike had chosen for me to play. Mike retired to another room leaving me the unhurried opportunity to try each piano.

When I had questions, Mike was knowledgable and informative. This gave me tremendous assurance I had done the correct thing contacting and visiting Piano Dude. After an hour or so I decided on two Charles Walter uprights and with Mike's continuing assistance chose one. I tend not to want complications or drama when purchasing something as important as a piano so my experience with the Piano Dude was outstanding in its ease and result.

The only problem I have is Mike is so far away he cannot service the piano on an ongoing basis. I bet his tuning and technical abilities are as good as his approach to providing the correct piano to the buyer. An excellent experience!

Awesome experience. I am a classical piano instructor, so I know about and have purchased my fair share of pianos. Mike was so knowledgable and unlike any salesman I have every worked with. He answered every question I had about multiple pianos and then let me be while I played each of them. I never felt like he had an agenda, just that he wanted me to go home with an instrument I was happy with.

His pianos were very reasonably priced and he had a really good selection so it made it worth the drive from Denver. He included delivery and the first tuning in the price, so it was a no brainer. I had been thinking about trying my luck with a Craigslist piano and I'm so glad I decided to go with Mike instead.
