Kelly's Piano & Organ

I don't get into Jacksonville very often, so when I do I like to explore a bit more than just going to the place I need to. This time around it was various music stores, to see what was available and what different stores carried. Kelly's Piano and Organ in the Monterey district was one of those stores that I visited. Parking is a little confusing, but I managed after a bit of a U-Turn.

Once inside I was greeted with lots of pianos. Pianos and organs. That is what you will find here. I was hoping for some synthesizers as well, but this is not that kind of shop. It looked like they have a nice selection, but I got the idea of what was there very quickly and headed out.

We recently bought a baby grand piano at Kelly's and it was a great experience. They know pianos. Most importantly, they make sure their pianos are all tuned and sold with no mechanical problems. and then they delivered the piano in perfect condition. It literally looked brand new. If you want a used piano, go to Kelly's where you will know what you are getting.

Wonderful experience at Kelly's today. I was immediately greeted by Robert and he was helpful and informative all day. He even showed me the shop in the back where they do all the sorts of restoration, work, restringing and tuning of the pianos they receive. Very impressive that the store does it all. Very large selection of pianos of all prices and types and all were in tune, clean and in great shape. Great place to go to look for a piano. New or used.

Great service, very knowledgeable, didn't feel like I was being pressured into a sale, just given good information. I found the information that the salesman gave me to be accurate after doing my own research. Got a fair price on a good piano. No complaints. I'd definitely go back.

It took about 5 minutes for some one to greet me in the show room that had NO ONE ELSE in it. So first impression wasn't so great. The guy that finally came up to greet me was awkward. But he was very knowledgeable about my piano and very helpful with showing me what needed to be fixed. I got a 40 yr old piano so I was expecting there to be issues. Other than the first five minutes of waiting for someone to greet me and the awkwardness of the guy, they're pretty good.
