My son has a instrument from this place. They make it so easy to rent with the middle school.

I've been coming here for forever. They're always friendly, helpful and above all knowledgeable. This is where I got my first flute and now a customer for life.

Had a fall on my tuba (Mienl Weston 2155) and crunched the bell. They did a phenomenal job on the dent removal, brace resoldering, felt and cork replacement, and ultrasonic cleaning! Thank you for the great repair work and tuning up my "old heap". Hasn't played this well in years!

Our experience with PM Music Center was nothing short than excellent. We were there for an exploration session. Our goal was to get an assistance in knowing various instruments in preparation for middle school music class. We were assisted by Hayley, she was very very knowledgeable, patient and brought in a very light mood to the session to which allowed my daughter to on her own choose an instrument, get excited for middle school and also showed interest in further taking up private lesson. Hayley and PM Music is highly recommended.

I have been going to PM since middle school. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I had some work done on my flute, and developed a newfound love to start playing again.

Staff is friendly, and the few instructors that I've worked with enjoyed what they were doing and made their students feel comfortable.

I stopped in with a friend who got an instrument fixed here. They have an impressive array of instruments (I was particularly surprised at the amount and variety of ukeleles!) The staff member who assisted us was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all the questions my friend came up with. Definitely a worthwhile place to stop if you have any instrumental interest in the Fox Valley Mall area!

Both of my kids rented instruments with PM thru their local grade school, then bought professional instruments to start high school. PM has always been top notch. Jason and Harley are very knowledgeable and the service and warranty coverage is excellent. Patrick was super responsive online. Not only would it not be worth it to save a few bucks from some anonymous online seller, PM is actually cheaper or the same as the online prices I've seen. If only they sold Taylor and Martin guitars.

Took 2 instruments for cleaning and small repairs. Received a follow-up call a few days later for an estimate on repairs. Everything was completed just a day later. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

My son rents a cornet from PM Music, and our experience has been great. Everyone is very friendly, and when have had issues with the kick slide, we get very quick and convenient service.

I am such a geeky band chick. I started playing the clarinet when I was 11, I'm now 21 going on 22. After 10 years I still to this day love picking up a new piece of music and buying new gadgets for my "musical downtime". PM Music is so adorable. Small store, but has so much. Prices are actually very reasonable considering it's almost Naperville.

The staff is great. I took my guitar in once for some work that needed to be done and they explained everything and more. The process took maybe 2 days and it cost me like 25 bucks. Someone always greets you and is ready to help you. It feels like a nice community home for musically inclined people. Great place! They have my business.

My daughter has taken lessons from Anna S on the violin for many years at PM music. She has grown immensely while taking lessons from Anna. In high school, she was auditioned and was placed in Concert Strings her Freshman year and I really believe it is because of Anna's teachings and guidance. Also, the staff at PM is phenomenally knowledgeable, professional, and considerate.

Even their waiting area is nicely furnished and clean. Not only did they help me find gifts for my three musician children, they also helped me when my car battery died in their parking lot. Really, really kind of them to do that and that is why I will keep coming back.

I've been in a few times now and each time I have been impressed by their professionalism. They always seem to be in motion, from the multiple employees who are engaged with customers on the phones and in the store, to the employees in the back working on the instruments. The employees dress very businesslike and appropriately for a music store.

Whenever I enter I'm greeted if someone is near the door, and when there is a line at the register the next employee who finishes what he is doing always goes down the line of people to ask if they've been helped yet. Whoever is paying these employees should be proud of them! I have also called on a few occasions to request specific items that I need, and while the person who answers may not immediately know the answer, he always asks a person who does and I know right away within a minute if they have what I'm looking for.

This happened on one occasion when I called to ask for a specific music book. The person looked on the computer and said they have 2 copies left, and then someone else actually found it on the shelf for me and put it aside at the desk on hold for 24 hours. Another time I was looking for a particular violin rosin. They had it, but she didn't know if it was light or dark, and so she verified with someone else in a matter of seconds that it was dark. I'm so glad to have such professional reliable customer service at a local music store.

There is always someone available on staff who has been able to answer my questions immediately. The prices are similar to what you would find at any other local music retailer and they have a good supply of the basics you would need on a daily basis. Great job PM Music!

I have been renting instruments from PM Music for many years (four children) through our school rental program. I cannot say enough nice things about how easy they are to work with and how pleasant the office staff is. I accidently kept my auto pay feautre on (even after I returned the instruments) and they were terrific in notifying me and returning my payments. I cannot think of one area where they need to improve. Thank you for making the rental experience so wonderful!

Andy at PM Music did an outstanding job helping my 5th grade students select an instrument. He was very patient, and thoroughly discussed the various choices with the kids. I am extremely appreciative that he took the time to share his expertise with us, and ultimately help my kids select an instrument. Thank you!

PM Music is the place to go when you need to upgrade your instrument. I just purchased our third professional level instrument (woodwind & brass) and I am 110% satisfied. They will work with you to get the instrument you want in store if they don't have it in stock. Additionally, you receive an upgraded manufacturer warranty for a year that allows you to take the instrument in for maintenance or repair such as a bell dent.

The instrument and accessory prices (reeds, stands, etc.) are competitive with online prices. I've also had great experiences with the on-site repair for the professional instruments (maintenance, repair and cleaning). Just a great experience. Knowledgable, friendly and helpful staff. I'll keep going back.

Very happy to find this place. They sell instruments- and have an on-site repair service. They offer private lessons, organize recitals for their students, and the store is always neat and very attractive.

Was so pleased with the outstanding service I received at PM Music Center. I called because I needed a pad replaced on my son's trombone. The person I spoke with, checked with the repair person and said that if I brought it in, he could look at it and maybe get it fixed that day. I drove to your store, was promptly helped and the service was great.

I even had someone offer to help me find something while I was waiting. My family is very into music and when we need to purchase anything musical in the future we will be only shopping at PM Music Center. Thank you again for your amazing service.

Have never been here before, but my daughter's music teacher recommended them for clarinet repair. Very friendly staff welcomed us. It was a very minor repair that they did on site and didn't charge us a cent! It took only a minute to fix what was wrong. Will go back for future service and purchases. Thanks a bunch!

Use yelp alot, first time I've contributed but felt strongly about this. Rented from this company at my child's school. Had numerous billing problems with the company sending bills out when I signed up for auto-pay (bit annoying when you have to call more than once on the same issue). Last straw was when, as always, I returned the instrument to the school at the end of the school year (as I have done previous times) and they continued to charge my card.

Company claims they did not receive the instrument. Called to try and iron the situation out but the General Manager was quite rude stating why he should give a credit for the previous months even though I didn't even have the instrument. I'm reasonable and was open for compromise but this guy attitude was a bit smart-ass like. Just decided to dispute the charges and not deal directly with this company's poor customer service. Stay away and rent/buy elsewhere.

This is a great place for instrument rental or purchase, instrument repair, sheet music, and all things for musicians. Their service is great, and everyone there knows their stuff! They have private lessons, and their teachers are experienced and great! They do a recital in the fall so the students can show what they have learned. Check here before you rent or buy an instrument. They also often have used instruments to purchase.
