Dennis came to my home today to tune my Charles Walters piano which had not been tuned in a very long time. He arrived at the time we had scheduled, which is extremely rare these days! He was professional and extremely knowledgeable about pianos. I felt he was reasonably priced and honest. I would definitely use Dennis to tune my piano again, which he told me should be done once a year to keep it in good shape. Thanks so much, Dennis! We are in possession of a 94 year old Kanabe baby grand. Even though the sound is great the wood is drying out obviously. Dennis has restored the keyboard and keep the piano going. He realistically let us know that pins need to be replaced but doesn't pressure us to invest more money into it. He makes it sound like a Steinway once it is tuned. Eventually, we will have him do more extensive work on the piano but for now we are more than satisfied. This was his third tune up on this piano; his price is reasonable, he is honest, and he works wonders on this old baby grand!

Dennis came to tune my 40 year old Wurlitzer piano, which has gotten quite a work-out, this past year. Although it has a nice sound, its age and life with many kids and a dog, make it look pretty beat up. He really took his time assessing what it needs, giving it an expert tuning, and repairing some of its issues. He even offered suggestions on how to restore its appearance.

I learned so much about my piano, I'm actually looking forward to getting it tuned again in a year, so it can be brought back up to its best! I know I shouldn't say this, but for such all around care and expertise, his services are practically a steal. Thank you!

How can one truly rate a piano and service until they have owned it for some time? I bought my white Yamaha G1 used on 2/5/2018 from Dennis. Before I received the piano, I had Dennis oversee the installation of the PianoDisc Player system. The installation was perfectly completed and the piano is equally as spectacular today as it was 2+ years ago!

Though I had an initial issue with delivery, Dennis was extremely involved in helping get the delivery safely accomplished. I love my G1 and would recommend Pianotek to all those looking for a very reputable and honest dealer and a Grade A quality used piano. Linda A.

I bought a Steinway &Sons 1098 upright piano from Dennis. I used eBay because I needed some seance of security considering I am in California is and the piano was in New York. I called and spoke with Dennis and learned Amit about pianos just speaking with him. I have wanted a Steinway ever since I was in college many years ago. The piano arrived about six weeks later in excellent condition.

I had a qualified piano technician come and tune it. He told me the pins and strings were new. He tuned my piano and played it had and showed me how my piano was built and strong as a work horse. He said because of the new strings I would need to tune my piano another two or three times within the next year because the strings are settling. But he told me I paid a good price and got an excellent piano. I am very happy with my purchase. Dennis even reimbursed me for the first tuning. Thank you Dennis.

My piano was damaged during the move from Canada to the U.S., and they did a wonderful job repairing and refinishing my Kawai. It looks fantastic and beautiful. Thank you!

I recently purchased a Yamaha piano from Pianotek and couldn't have been happier with the experience. I dealt directly with Dennis P, the owner, who is an awesome guy with incredible knowledge about Piano's from both a technician and a musician's perspective. He gave me a great deal on the piano and then came to he house to tune it after the move.

I was in the market for a new piano but after visiting Pianotek I realized I could get something as good as new for almost half the price. His used piano's are in perfect condition and you would never be able to tell the difference between a 15 year old piano from Pianotek and a brand new one from somewhere else. I can highly recommend Dennis Pereca and Pianotek! I really wanted to get my childhood piano in tune and moved back to my home in Westchester from a relative's home in Long Island. Dennis went out to see if it was worth saving (It is 60 years old and hasn't been tuned in 10 years) -- and after a careful inspection, I am getting my piano back home! Dennis was understanding, reasonable, and gave me the name of a mover who was $200 less expensive than the others. I am so grateful I called and spoke with Dennis. I just wish he lived closer to Westchester so he could service my piano!

Dennis came over to tune our Steinway and he's a very cool guy who has a lot of fun music business stories. He's a great piano tuner too! He is a pleasure to listen to! I recently purchased a 1983 Yamaha U3A from Pianotek and am thrilled with the piano. I knew I wanted a U3, and I had shopped around for a while looking at different pianos from other dealers. For the most part, I was underwhelmed, and couldn't find pianos that lived up to the U3 reputation. Then I visited Dennis at his showroom. He had at least six instruments for me to choose from, each from the sweet-spot years of U3 production, and Dennis let me spend the better part of a rainy afternoon, playing them all, and deciding which one I preferred. Dennis' selection far surpassed any of the other U3s I had auditioned previously.

His pianos sing and they hit you in your gut -- exactly what I was hoping for, and now that the one I chose is sitting in my living room, it sounds even better. It's a gorgeous instrument, in pristine reconditioned condition, and I'm looking forward to enjoying it for many years.

Dennis arrived on time, extremely friendly, did a great job tuning my very very out of tune piano which had been moved and neglected for a few years. Was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Will definitely continue using him every year to take care of my piano!

We checked out a couple other Long Island piano dealers but this was the best. Dennis is really knowledgeable and down-to-earth. The other dealers were sometimes too formal or didn't know how to treat us like people! The Yamaha U1 I got sounds like a dream and the people at Pianotek were incredibly helpful with sales, moving logistics and he personally voiced the piano to my preference. After 8 months of extensive search in the NY area for a Yamaha grand C2 or C3, as soon as I walked in and met Dennis I knew I'm in great hands.
