Serving Nassau County for over fifty years! After serving his country in the US Navy, Arthur Lewis, a dedicated musician, went off to the C.G. Conn Factory to learn the art of brass and woodwind repair. In 1950 he moved to Mineola, New York and established Arthur M. Lewis Band Instruments. Arthur's son, Brian, apprenticed with his father and acquired the family business in 1989.

They have some really excellent and professional instructors here. They are very flexible with scheduling and everyone is very polite and patient. I learned some good basics for guitar and how to read and play some basic piano music. I am 31 but I see lots of happy children who are excited to play music. This is a good place to learn to enjoy and play music for any age.

Great place for Music classes that is multi generational. All three of my kids come here regularly. They have enjoyed their time here and most instructors are polite and accommodating. You can take half hour sessions unlike many other places. Instructor Alex is the best!

Fun place. Follows all the covid protocols. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. The kitchen made a couple of mistakes but they were all happily corrected. Food was good. Definitely try the fried avocado

All 3 of our kids took music lessons at Lewis Music at one point. Although they eventually moved up to higher levels and more advanced teachers, this was a great starting place.

Staff are great. Brian Lewis has been my private teacher for over 5 years now. My playing abilities on trumpet have skyrocketed after being with him. This a great place that I highly recommend.
