Mr. Kramer is one of the most helpful violin dealers I've met in my career as a violinist. He will always go out of his way to make your buying experience worth the time and effort. He has been in the violin business for awhile and he is a man I certainly trust. He has a variety of good violins at different price points and I recently bought my violin from here.
He gets the job done and is always negotiable for his prices but from what he lists them for are without a doubt fair. He lends you different violins on a trial period and along with bows to figure out which violin is right for your playing style. The violin comes complimentary with a beautiful case in gold/brown that has numerous pockets and can hold 4 bows, the case is rectangular and also comes with his personal rosin.
My recent purchase was an 1800's Austrian violin. He always makes sure the customer is happy and after purchase 6 months after he does an inspection to see how the violin is holding up and if anything is wrong due to weather/seasonal problems he will handle it for you. He however is not walk-in but only by appointment but always finds a time that fits both his and your schedule.
I would highly recommend checking out Mr. Kramer if you are in the market looking for a new violin especially if they looking for a superior upgrade. He is a dealer for all levels of violinists and does what the musician requires.
