Total pro guy. Consider yourselves lucky to have this caliber craftsman on long island. Also. Real possible I never do an action adjustment on an acoustic without him. Been doing my own for decades. He aced it in one shot. I'd be adjusting lower and lower between string changes until it felt right and sometimes then too low.

Ed is a rare commodity. He does exceptional work and to top it off is a consummate professional and a really nice guy. I had purchased a Les Paul recently and was overwhelmed by what a finely made instrument it was. However, the sides of the frets were noticeably sharp, and Ed said it also needed to be properly set up. As wonderful as my new guitar was, after he was done, it played and felt 200% better. If you need work on your guitar, Ed is THE MAN!

I have been taking my guitars and basses to Ed for twenty years. He does unbelievable work at a fair price. He has done fret jobs, fixed broken necks, electronics.and dozens of other jobs for me through the years. Everytime, I have been incredibly happy. You won't be sorry bringing your instruments here. Ed is an ace builder. I haven't bought one of his guitars yet, but someday I'll take the plunge. He did sell me a Blueridge that I love and play everyday.
