I've always found music for my classroom and staff is friendly.

It's funny, been in the shopping center where they are located multiple times and never realized it was there. Had a good shopping visit and found some items.

Drove from Rio Rancho to buy a couple of things for my son's trombone. Was told I'd need to drive back to Rio Rancho and bring the horn in to get what I needed. Explained that I knew exactly what I need as I have played the same instrument for nearly 30 years. The clerk then changed her story and stated that she didn't know where the parts were. Unfortunate that I attempted to shop local and was forced to buy online because an employee was uniformed and unwilling to help. This is why local retail is dying.

They are amazing at answering any questions and do amazing work. Got my sons saxaphone fixed fast.

Amazing selection of instruments, cases, or anything else music related! HIGHLY recommended by the high schools in the area and definitely worth the drive/traffic!

An identity theft setup. They demand that you provide them your social security number online! When questioned about this, the owner tries to sell you a used instrument for $1500! No legitimate operation demands that you provide your DOB, address, Drivers License Number, credit card information AND social security number.

The people there are very accommodating and want to set you up with what you need. I appreciate there knowledge and excellent service.

Wonderful repair service for my 18-year-old alto sax. It plays like new! (So new, in fact, I double checked the serial number to make sure I wasn't given a new sax by mistake!)

Awful service. Young lady at the counter was rude and unhelpful and treated me as if I had no knowledge of musical instruments and their mechanics. Was rude on the phone too I won't even buy valve oil there. Update, I took my Horn to get fixed a couple of months back and the gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and courteous, as well as the young lady whom I wrote the badd review on was very nice and helpful also.

We all have our bad days so I forgive the young lady and ask that she forgive me and my bad review and get on with moving forward. I received my Horn the date they told me it would be done and they did an outstanding job. Keep up the good work!

Such a great place to get all of my kids needs for band. The folks here are very informative and helpful. My kid is a drummer and they had some really neat materials where my kid can follow along with sheet music to a CD that focuses on different aspects to some fun cool songs. Really love this place :

Baums goes above and beyond. 2 years ago I brought my (tuba) horn in for a cleaning, and due to my own mis scheduling it was very close to auditions, and a busy time of year for them. They got my horn to me in time. Today I picked up my horn from another cleaning and some dent removal and am more than happy with the results. I brought my horn in on a Wednesday, and they had it ready on Friday!

The main dent pulls look great, and they even helped me get some niks out of the bell from mouthpiece drops, purely aesthetic. Not only do they have reasonable prices for cleaning and fixing a horn of this size, they also replaced my valve pads and spit valve corks for me, no extra charge. Even looks like it's been polished a bit! I appreciate your work, and we're lucky to have you in Albuquerque. *I post this in my own volition, because the customer service and work is exemplary. The people that own Baum's Music are incredibly kind people. Trust them with your instruments, spend your money at their shop. The people who spend their days working at Baum's love music, instruments and people in equal measure!

I adore this place. i have been a client for about ten years. I place my full trust on these people when it comes to repairs on my instrument. It is worth the hour drive from my home down in Valencia county.

This place is awesome! I love coming to this store I love the costumer service! Everyone is super nice! They are very knowledgeable and know what they are talking about when it comes to instruments! When comes to repairs the are state of the art! They can fix and repair just about anything and do it in a reasonable amount of time, you can't rush good work! The are over all and arguably the best music store in town!

I've been in Baum's a lot lately because my daughter is starting to play guitar. Every time I go in I'm treated nicely and always get what I came for. Except once he didn't have a book but quickly told me where I could find it. Baum's is close to my house, super convenient and friendly, knowledgable service.

Im not a very musical kind of person. as a lot of my friends That have gigs with very well known bands. Very nice family ran store. Pretty nice selection and I learned a thing or two. So funky commadina.um, ,u m.um.

Had to get a shoulder rest for the kiddo's violin. We have also had it restrung here. I love the service. Curtis is so helpful! The location is great for me. Many a moon ago we have also have a flute cleaned and serviced here. They know what they're doing.

Good selection of reeds and a decent selection of saxophone mouthpieces. Nice store and even a few vintage horns on hand.
