I went into Alex's store 14 years ago when he was located directly on Jefferson Ave. His instruments were on display, and gave me a sense of the music world. I wasn't ready until 2 years ago when I finally went back. Alex put out 4 cellos for me to inspect after I phoned him and explained what I was looking for. Alex knows a musician when he sees one, and is willing to guide as he can which venue to play at, both virtual and live. Thanks Alex!
