But there are a number of music instructors using the practice rooms, and the owner literally speaks to you by cell phone to help you find what you want. And is happy to make personal appointments if you're at the next level of serious.

The staff was rude and unhelpful. Their Pianos, as well as their music lessons, are way over priced.

Thank you to Avery, for awesome service and help. He was very friendly and attentive. I had a lot of fun at the Tarzana location, playing on different pianos and being in the store. You can make appointments on the phone (while we deal with covid-19).

My son has been getting private guitar lessons for over a year and he advanced a lot. The lessons are half an hour a week and not that expensive.

I used Knauer Piano moving services recently to move a piano from my parents house in the Antelope Valley (Palmdale) down to the South Bay area, about 75 miles. Out of 6 companies I requested quote from, Knauer Piano was the only one to respond, and did so right away. None of the other companies even gave me a "no thank you" and I expected not many to go up to the AV. Then, they were able to schedule the pick up a couple days later, and deliver in the same day, all for what I felt was a very reasonable price.

The whole process was even quicker than originally planned. My parents said the crew who did the pick up was quick and very nice and my husband said the same about the drop off. The piano is an upright, over 40 years old, & the drop off location did have some stairs. Not a scratch on the piano or the bench, which even still had old music books in it. If I ever need to move our piano again, Knauer Piano is the only company I will call. Thank you again Knauer team!

Ben Knauer is the most reliable, straightforward, overall great piano technicial I've worked with. And I've played piano my whole life. Dealing with pianos is a tricky business, because older pianos can often give you some unexpected issues. Ben took full responsibility and then some for any unforeseeable issues in the process of fixing up my new piano, even though they weren't his fault, and made sure that he took care of everything. His prices are also fantastic. I would highly recommend going to him first for any piano purchase or piano technician service.
