Three years ago, we moved the shop from Oak Cliff to Richardson. We hope you're as cheerful about the move as we're. The main problem has been that we are so busy, there hasn't been time to update the website. But now a major update with expanded features and information is in the works, and will be completed this fall. You can read more about the shop in About Us.

The absolute most perfect violin shop in DFW! They finish repairs and rehairs very, very quickly! When my violin got dropped and the fingerboard came off, they reattached it within 5 days and only charged $38! Whenever I get my bow rehaired, I ALWAYS go to Jay Rury and he ALWAYS gives me a fair price in a very good time. Most repairs are done within a week even during holidays and busy times.
The shop is small, but thats its beauty. It is owned by remarkable, friendly, and knowledgable luthiers who care about their customers, not abuse them for profits like other violin shops. GO TO JAY R RURY FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!

I loved the place. Service was amazing, they had a bunch of violins, cellos and bass instruments and all of them seemed to be of outstanding quality. I needed help with my dowels and strings, and the luthier repaired it for me at no expense. Fantastic place. If anyone needs a violin, go to jay rury.
