Services
We abandoned the "chem flush" system of cleaning in 2002. We now use an ultrasonic system for this process. This system operates from 40kHz through 90kHz, setting the cleaning solution into motion with acoustic waves. This creates a high pressure and a low pressure front that travels throughout the solution.
S.I.R. attempts to maintain a reasonable supply of pre-ownded instruments that we offer for purchase. All instruments are produced by prominent manufactures. These brands are known to be dependable instruments, by virtually any musician in the U.S.A., and abroad. We guarantee that our brass instruments are free of all major "dings and dents", and that all of the individual parts are in good working order.

Would recommend to everyone! My trombone's slide was really grindy, and tough to even move a little bit, so I came here to find some sort of lubricant that would help, and he gave me a wide variety of options and I chose the hetmen hydro slide which worked absolutley amazing and freed me of all of my instrument troubles.

I've had several different instruments repaired by Jerry and he has ALWAYS done a great job. He is extremely knowledgeable and is more than willing to help you learn about the instrument. Even when I purchased used instruments from someone other than him, he did a great job going over them and getting them into super working condition. If I ever need an instrument repaired other than string instruments since he doesn't do those, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
