Island Music is located in the Manalapan/Monroe area in the state of New Jersey. Our address is located off of route 9, at the end of Union Hill Road in the Franklin Plaza. Our family has been in the music business since the 1950s hailing from the New York City area. Island Music opened it's studios and store front in 1998 in the New Jersey area. We know you will enjoy our unique teaching style and wholesale product pricing. Our desire is to create students who will play with passion and enthusiasum.

IMS also offers a uniquely developed lesson program for the very young. The lesson program is an intense learning experience, yet it is approached in a fun and encouraging manner. The young child will learn various aspects of music ranging from rhythmic response, music notation, ear training, music vocalization, and music appreciation.

The owner s were two ladies. They were very passionate about their music business. Good environment. The instructor they assigned me too was excellent bass teacher. I believe the instructor's name was Pat. It would make me sad if Island Music Studio is closed. Perhaps all good things must come to the end. I hope the two ladies are doing well. If I need to get lessons again on my bass, they are the go to people. Perhaps, Pat is still connected with them.
