I recently picked up an old Trace Elliott off reverb and channel 1 had a loud buzz. Contacted Upscale music after reading good reviews. Mario was very friendly and fixed my amp in a good amount of time and for a good price. He has a lot of cool amps there even one I never seen before. Definitely will be bringing more work his way

I don't like giving negative but Mario burned me for $50. And I gave him a chance to fess up. Briefly, I needed pre amp work done on my guitar. He took a deposit and after some time, I called him to pick it up and he told me he was backlogged. No problem on my part I have other guitars. Later, my money tightened and I called him to not work on the guitar and that I would bring it back in spring or summer.

He didn't respond. When I came to pick up my instrument, he told me I couldn't have my deposit returned because he had started diagnostics on it which was a lie. But I was truthful telling him that I would return it at a later date. I won't ever trust him again and there are other honest guitar repair folks around. He wasn't cool. Sure he gave me a set of strings as a consolation prize.

I had bought from Mario before but never will return. He lost my patronage. I told him the truth about my willingness to return at a later date and he lied to me in return. And he kept giving different repair costs the lowest given when I picked up my guitar but by that time I had lost confidence in his business ethics. I'm self employed and I would never treat any customer in this manner.

Knowledgeable person, who likes to get into his projects. Need things worked on reconfigured or upgraded, hes the guy to talk to. Fender also highly recommended him

Usually no one looks forward to taking anything in for service, but opposite can be said about taking my amps into Upscale Music. Not only is Mario just a great and personable guy, but my amps always come back to me in the the best shape. He goes the extra mile and it shows.

Mario is very knowledgeable. He took the time to not only fix my amp, but let me know how to set it up so I won't have the same issues down the road. Very good guy. I highly recommend Upscale music for amp repairs.

Mario is Awesome. More importantly, Upscale Music is the only place that I will take my gear to be repaired. I have tried other options before meeting Mario, and, I wish I had called him first. Fantastic multiple experiences.

Need some amp repair and tired of the run-around/fretting (pun intended) about the skills and talents of your local schmoes? Take your rig to Mario; run, don't walk! The dude got my Mesa singing like a dream.can highly recommend. Must emphasize that it's great to have such an ol-skool artisan in our neck of the NE woods. Very reasonable pricing!

Think twice before bringing your gear here to be fixed. I was told 7-10 days turn around time. The guy never tested my gear for problems and instead assumed what was wrong and ordered a part - which ended up not fixing the issue completely. Meaning he had to order another part. Turns out that other part needed is back ordered. Wasted my time completely. I had to go back pick up my speaker and take it elsewhere for replacement. 2 weeks without a speaker. FOR NOTHING.

I am a believer. Did nice work very quickly on my vintage telecaster for a great price. Highly recommended - and I don't highly recommend very often : And he has some nice amps at very reasonable prices. I will be going back.
