I was very happy to find Michael to work on my accordion. He was very flexible with appointment times and even offered to meet me on a Saturday morning if it would have been best for my schedule. He is definitely knowledge about his trade, and I was very impressed with his level of expertise and attention to detail. I'll definitely be returning in the future for all things bellows!

Like many who have posted here, I have been taking my accordions to Mr. Arralde for years. He's installed internal mics to the left and right sides of my Beltuna, adjusted action for smoother movement, added closure straps, offered helpful insight and options when I needed more information, and added small, light U-bolts to clip external mics for my smaller Saltarelle. Recently I asked him to dry up my Beltuna to 100% dry for recording purposes and he did a stunningly good job!

I have been taking my accordions to Michael Arralde for 30 years. Simply, he is the best. His work is excellent, his prices fair, and -- in an extraordinary fashion -- he understands what each accordion means to its owner. He communicates clearly and in a timely fashion, and is always willing to shape priorities to meet the needs of -- say -- a professional musician who desperately needs his or her accordion fixed quickly.
He has never let me down. He is patient, positive, and it is always a pleasure to hang out with him, talk story, try out different accordions. He loves accordions and he will love yours.

Michael Arralde treated me and my accordion with an enormous amount of respect. He was knowledgeable about my specific accordion, discussed its features and areas of improvement in detail, and went above and beyond in both the diagnosis and the service itself. I came in to have a stuck key fixed and he went the extra mile with the rest of my keyboard and vacuumed out my case.
I felt valued and respected as a customer, and the price was extremely reasonable. I can't stress enough how surprised and satisfied I was by this service. Thank you, Michael.

I purchased a used accordion 2 years ago from Michael. After 2 years of use the bass switch was not functional anymore so I took it to Petosa accordions for a quick fix. Their cost estimate was more than half of what I purchased the accordion for. So I brought the accordion back to Mr. Arralde and he told me he would fix it for free. He then offered me a upgraded accordion better suited for my music style and offered to take off exactly what I had paid for the older accordion. Michael Arralde accordion is the absolute best used accordion dealer and is the smarter choice for beginners and even advanced players who don't want to spend 10s of thousands of dollars on a new, name brand accordion.

Superb skill, knowledge, and conscientiousness. I use Mike for all my diatonic button accordion repairs and rebuild work. No place else I'd even consider going. Major repairs (eg replace bellows or reed sets) as well as the little things that go wrong. Nobody anywhere (incl the vaunted "Button Box", back in Mass) has better knowledge of how to make a box tight and leak-free.
On one occasion I purchased a pretty old Hohner 2-row box, but leaky and in keys I wasn't seeking. Mike got a new bellows and new reeds, and made all the bellows seals and flapper valves leak-free. Brought the whole thing in at well under the cost of new, for far better condition. A true dedicated craftsman!

Michael is the man to see. He knows everyone (worth knowing), and everyone (worth knowing) knows him! He does an amazing job, and his fees are fair. Make sure he plays something for you, because he's a truly amazing musician. Thanks for my new instruments, Michael! P.S. He does not use email, so you must call him.
