Watch out, they might think you are stupid, the piano they are trying to sell to you is the junk they want to clean up.

This piano center had the worse service ever! I never had such negative experiences with retailers before! We were returning our piano after 7 years of renting we paid over $8,000 on the lease of a piano which only has a retail value of $3,500 because my husband forgot to purchase the piano 1 year after the lease began.The movers never make the appointment and didn't even bother to give me a call to inform me.

I had to call the representative who scheduled the appointment to find out the movers had already gone home. Meanwhile I had to take off work to wait at home and my husband had to take off work to pick up my child from school; but, the movers got to ho home after they failed they job? The representative didn't even apologize for the mistake and told me that they will continue charging the rent.

The representative can't understand the facts that me and my family has work commitments, schools to attend to. She feels that we should just have the movers come at their earliest convenience not ours as the clients. The second day I called her to reschedule, she never called my back. So, I had to call the "boss" of the center who was rude and unapologetic.

He said the movers didn't show up is not his problem because they are third party company. That he had no time to hear what happened because he is busy. Well, since he is the boss, he is the one who contracted the jobs to that moving company, then, why is his hired movers failing their job not his problem? He is just not taking accountability of a failing job which takes may be 20 minutes to complete if the movers did show up.

What upsets us the most is that Hollywood Piano not taking responsibilities and be accountable to a commitment. Meanwhile the clients are the ones who sacrificed their time and put their life on hold to meet their commitment, especially during the difficult time of the Covid 19 pandemic. And that the center wanted to continue charging rent based on the fact that they failed to have their movers pick up the piano. The situation is simply not acceptable and unreasonable!

It has always been a dream of mine to get a piano for my home but, I've played piano for 10 years and now that I'm old enough to purchase it and have my own home, so lucky to fulfill this dream, truly a dream come true. I purchased in September 2021 but because my house is under construction I ask them if I can have a delivered in two months they were amazing from start to finish from Deena to the sales people to the actual owner it really is a dream come true and I'm so happy that Hollywood piano was able to make this entire purchase such an enjoyable purchase they made me feel warm and welcome and had amazing prices.the piano I got is a digital piano which also has a certain amount of songs that you can go ahead and put it put on and it will actually the keys on the piano will actually start to play on its own even though I can play the piano sometimes it's nice to walk away and enjoy the music as this piano plays on its own because it is a digital music again I think Deena the owners and all the people that helped us in finding my dream piano and from delivery all the way till following up to see how the actual delivery process went, Dena did an amazing job the entire team again my dream come true and I'm so grateful for it it's such a beautiful piece of equipment in my house and I know I will treasure this forever thank you so much Hollywood piano Dina everyone thank you thank you

I visited different piano stores for a couple of months and came back here to do business with Gus. He was very knowledgeable and patiently showed me various types of baby grand without being pushy. This was especially important to me since it was a big purchase. I also wanted to make sure I purchased the right model for myself and not because someone pressured me into making a transaction. This is a follow to my first review, this store shouldn't be punished for the behavior of 1 person. All the other times we had visited the store we were treated well. They have a great collection of piano's and the store is kept clean.

Great service and great product! When going into the Burbank location, Leigh walked me and my husband through a couple of digital piano models. She asked useful questions to find out what I was looking for and made the whole experience very exciting and fun. The piano was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. Even though we got a "beginner's model", the Roland HP 702, it plays wonderfully and in many ways feels like playing an acoustic piano, thanks to Roland's focus on the full playing experience, rather than just the typical digital features (various instruments, midi out, 1/8" and 1/4" out, etc.), which are great as well of course.

I was looking for a piano and called a few different companies and I confused his store with another and I (apologized ) and I asked what he had at this store it seemed in my opinion he didn't want to help when I kept asking him questions about What they had there. He gave me the impression he was mad I called and thought I was calling somewhere else but that's his opportunity to sell me something must be nice not needing customers during a pandemic my opinion.

We decided to get a piano to practice during this pandemic. I am a 100% beginner and my partner played a decade ago. Gus is extremely knowledgeable with digital pianos and quickly got us up to speed with models that would fulfill our needs, he was extremely helpful and nice. This is the best place to get your piano, we cannot be happier with our purchase!

Early on in the pandemic, when we knew we would be spending more time staying-at-home, we decided to rent a piano. I called around and Hollywood Piano was the best. Gus helped me select the right piano for our needs and skill level, and the paperwork, process, delivery & set-up were as easy as can be. Dina provided amazing service, helping set-up the return pick-up, and answering any questions about billing, the return process, or anything else that came up.

She is always so kind and upbeat. If you are thinking of something to do while locked down, renting a piano was a great experience, and Hollywood Pianos provided excellent service, selection, and an easy, safe delivery and pick-up.

Can't say enough good things about Hollywood Piano and their staff. I came in during their sale and Mario personally helped me--going through about a dozen pianos and finding a used Yamaha U1 that I was happy with. I got the piano home and they sent their technician Chris to follow up. Again, can't say enough good things about him. He came over and cleaned every surface of the piano, inside and out, fixed cracks, refinished certain areas, and did more technical work.

He then came back another day started the tuning and decided that the whole internal mechanism could use some work so he took that to his shop and returned a few days later. Honestly, it's like a whole new instrument. The adjustments he made have it playing so well and it's great to meet someone who cares so much about their craft. All this to say, you can't go wrong with the folks at Hollywood Piano and their technicians.

I just bought an electric piano here today and liked the service quite a bit. No pressure, I told him what I wanted and he pointed me in the right direction. It was a bit more than I planned to spend. but it was a FAR better piano than I planned to buy. Gus was a pro, easy going and knew his stuff. and he didn't make me wear a mask! Good experience. I recommend this store.

Truly the best Piano Store in Burbank! Talk about a huge showroom. The selection is outstanding and the staff is informative, professional and friendly. It warms my heart to see a business with such a beautiful and lengthy history still going strong. Glenn is such a doll. If you're in Burbank, or even Pasadena, you should drop in to Hollywood Piano and get lost in the majesty of their extensive inventory of pianos and piano accessories. if I could give them 6 stars I would. We just purchased our first piano from Leigh at Hollywood Piano and she was such a delight. So helpful, so kind and very informative. We went in asking about a different piano, but she asked us a few questions and suggested we look at a Roland instead. We're so thankful she did! Because of her knowledge, we didn't end up buying something we'd likely outgrow in a year or so. She even gave us a great deal! Thank you Leigh!

Great experience buying here. After dealing with Gus, I decided to purchase a Roland HP603A digital piano, and have been extremely pleased with it. I've debated among uprights, grands, and different hybrid pianos, but I ended up going with the Roland after much education and honest info on pianos and digital instruments in general. Gus is straightforward and a man of his word; when I feel that I have graduated in my music program and reached the next level in playing, I will buy my grand piano here!

After my purchase, Gus also took the time to introduce the new Chinese pianos to me; I was skeptical at first but ended up being blown away at the quality and workmanship of the instruments. They are all very musical and in my honest opinion provide the most bang for the buck. After a side-by-side comparison, I found them to be superior to the Yamahas and Kawais that I have always had a special affinity for. Anyways, I believe Hollywood Piano Company is a very honest seller and will guide you to the piano that perfectly suits you.

Hollywood Piano is a shady establishment that serves as an insult to the wider piano community. In a blatant attempt at a cash grab, their general manager - Mr. Ric Overton offered a third of what a separate establishment offered us on our used piano. Another store offered us $4500 but Mr. Overton offered us a pathetic and paltry $1500, knowing full well that the piano could sell for $7,000 to $8,000.

I have no problem with a business making some money but what Mr. Overton, and Hollywood Piano, offered us here was undeniably predatory. Their business practices reek of blatant avarice and are a reflection of an institutionalized disregard for their customers needs. If they are this willing to rip off someone selling a used piano, imagine how comfortable they must be with ripping off new customers walking in to buy a piano from them. Beware.

I walked in to ask some questions about the pianos. The customer service was excellent. They showed me different features on their pianos. They were honest about the best fit for me, in terms of price and features, not steering me towards higher priced products, but respecting my budget and needs. I really liked this place and felt comfortable. Now I just need to save up. I'll be back.

As a piano teacher, I'm grateful Hollywood Piano Company is nearby. I send all of my new piano students there to either rent an acoustic piano or electronic keyboard. They are courteous and never pushy with my students. We hold our Fall student piano concerts in their beautiful piano hall each year. They make us feel welcome, and their selection and knowledge of pianos and keyboards is extensive.

Lucky me! I was looking to buy a specific keyboard and North Hollywood Piano Company just happened to be the only dealer in town that had it in stock. I went in to test it out and Gus was very helpful and gave me plenty of time to play around. When I returned to make my purchase the rest of the sales team I met were just as friendly and I walked away with a great deal on a great keyboard.

My sister bought a brand new piano (Weber) over there. The place is very functional since they also offer second-hand pianos and also able to rent. Its definitely give you the fair price. She also got a clip-on piano lamp from Cocoweb, which is very impressive to me since the lamp looks and works so well over the place. Suggested!

When I went into Hollywood Piano I had several questions and concerns. Thankfully, the staff at this Piano Shop are top of the line and most DEFINITELY know exactly what they are talking about and it shows. After speaking with the President, Glenn for one day I could truly say I left the store feeling like a Piano Major! I had several questions regarding the Digital Roland Piano's and how there sound differs from others.

He explained to me exactly what I needed to know, one major thing being that they have a Natural decaying sound which is huge for a Digital Piano! They really do have quite the selection of pianos, I felt like a kid in a candy story. I would recommend The Hollywood Piano store to anyone I know who is a piano enthusiast or is seeking some knowledge, direction, or advice regarding pianos. Friendly staff, beautiful store, and relaxed environment.

It was serendipitous that we ended up at Hollywood Piano. We were actually on our way back from the nearby IKEA (exhausted as usual from their maze and meatballs) and happened upon it. We were thinking about getting a piano for my mom's upcoming birthday and went in to see what those newfangled digital pianos were all about (or even if they had them at all). "Ric" greeted us immediately and we told him what we were researching/exploring due to space and money issues, and ultimately how the piano would be used.

He was extremely informative, not pushy at all in the sales pitch (which is very irritating to me), but made sure to plug why buying from them could be a benefit to us (versus ordering thru other venues such as Amazon). Ric even agreed to price match. We left feeling pretty convinced the Casio Privia was the way to go, but not quite ready to pull the trigger on that sale.

There was absolutely no awkwardness about that or typical passive-aggressive disappointment from their end. When the time came, the entire transaction down to the delivery and assembling was completely seamless. I had nothing but a positive experience with Hollywood Piano from start to finish and the piano.wow, it's amazing. If you close your eyes, you'd have no clue you weren't playing on the real deal. I'm an amateur classical pianist, and a couple of years ago, I was in the market for a grand piano. My husband and I did a ton of research -- besides reading up on various Kawai and Yamaha pianos (my brands of choice) -- I tried out pianos both privately owned and sold in stores. I came to Hollywood Piano after a terrible experience at Knauer's (contact me for more info) and after looking at a number of pianos that were not up to the standard I expected. I'm glad to say that Hollywood Piano took the anxiety out of the instrument-buying experience.

The store has a good selection of high-quality new and used pianos, acoustic as well as electric. I spoke with two salespeople, both of whom were very helpful and knowledgeable. Best of all, they were not pushy -- they gave me all the time I needed to play the various pianos. Glenn, who I believe is a manager, knew exactly what I wanted and showed me several makes and models.

I ultimately bought a wonderful, hardly-used Kawai KG-2E, a 5'11 grand piano in satin finish. Gorgeous, warm tone with firm yet responsive action. I got a very good deal and I was able to trade in my Knabe upright. Last but not least, Hollywood Piano took the headache out of transporting my new piano to our new home in Northern California, and at a reasonable price, too.

If I need to get another piano in the future, there's a good chance that I'll go back to Hollywood Piano even though I now live in the SF Bay area. I trust the folks there; they try to do their best for their customers, even picky ones like me!
