Allen Mance. guy is 47 but says he's been "doing this since the 1980's". this guy is a complete and total jerk. first of all, just look at the ghetto store. it's so tasteless. in that dying ghetto town. pretty much says it all. no style, no class. just a pawn shop owner. this is a PAWN SHOP. good riddance. such a blessing this place closed down. tired old man. this guy has no business doing any of this. his guitar knowledge is a joke, his inventory is decrepit. he's one of those guys who lives to feed off others. like any self-hating pawn shop, or card/collector type guy. no soul. RIP.

Agreed. Terrible place to buy. They don't even honor their written policy on their receipt that they will EXCHANGE items (even when the item was bought the same day). The owner hid in the back room and refused to come out to speak with us. He instead made the (rude) salesperson on the floor inform us their written policy is not actually truth.

They allow exchanges at their "discretion" (aka never). Word will get out about their shadiness and they will be out of business soon enough. They are no friend to musicians. I wouldn't even rate the store as a one star, but had to. Pawn shops are more up front and honest.

I will explain my one star after I thank this music store for not standing behind a sale they made to my husband. I want to thank you for saving us thousands of dollars at your store. My husband collects guitars and bought a used Taylor unfortunately he missed some water damage on the guitar. When I got home 5 days later he was so excited about guitar and Pay It Again Music told me he couldn't wait to take me there and he wanted to buy more from them.

Well that all changed when I noticed immediately that there was damage on the bottom. My husband contacting them right away and they told us there was no damage on guitar when he left with it. When we contacted repair guy they recommended he said no way did that damage happen in the short 5 days he had it. We are honest people and unfortunately I do not feel this place is.

They told us they give us $100 off next guitar we bought from them. Will be a cold day in Hell before that happens. So again, Play It Again Music thank you for saving us money at your store. I know my husband will be buying several guitars just not from you. So if you plan on buying used from this place check that guitar over and over again before walking out the door.

Be aware that they tend to have used gear that was originally sold at big-box stores, and they are charging upwards of 15-20% more than it sold for new. Be aware that when you are negotiating a price, you may be competing against online buyers for some of there equipment (and the online price is often listed lower than what they are trying to sell it to you in the store for).

Before purchasing any music equipment at a store or online, new or used, don't be afraid to put a few miles on your car and look around at what stores have to offer - it will be well worth your time and effort, and you may find you can get the same piece of equipment new, used in better condition, or even for less $$$. Always research what you are buying so you can make an educated decision and know what the true value is. Also, if a store will not negotiate on a price for new or used equipment, walk out the door - in almost all cases someone else will have the same piece of equipment and a reputable dealer will negotiate on price, and NEVER let a dealer compete you against someone on e-Bay or Reverb, as it shows they have NO REGARD for the customer standing in front of them - A store that operates in such a fashion is a store that would be better off closing their doors to the public and selling exclusively online due to the fact they only want to sell equipment to the highest bidder as opposed to creating a relationship with a buyer that could net them many sales in the future and positive word of mouth to other potential customers.
