I visited with a friend who needed some gig accessories for their drums. This was my first time in and I gravitated to the guitar section. I haven't played in over 10 years but had been thinking about picking it back up. I was assisted by Morgan. She was extremely helpful in meeting my needs for a lefty acoustic electric. I will definitely be back to purchase an instrument and any accessories I need.

My experience at Andy's was horrible. I called and ask do they have any piano music for beginners and was told yes. The sales person was friendly over the phone but the minute I arrived her whole attitude changed. She didn't want to help me. I walked around for about 15 minutes waiting to ask for help but the staff pretended to be busy even when no one was in the store.
The minute a Caucasian person walked in, they were at their beck and call ready to help. I was so excited about buying music so I can practice my piano, but after being treated like dirt my attitude changed. I wish people would learn that know matter what color you are, one is know better than the other. Please stop believing that lie!

Terrible place to do business. Failed promises and wasted time. Not willing to negotiate. Will not answer questions directly and instead will offer you a service plan. My daughter brought her clarinet in multiple times and they said nothing wrong with it. Today they said it has needed regulated for over 6 months. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. They are only in it for the money. Previously, when my daughter brought the clarinet in to be looked at for the continuing problem, we were going to buy a new clarinet when they offered no interest for 6 mos. financing.
The associate told me to go to the website and I wasted about 45 minutes worth of time to find out they required over 20% interest, to the tune of well over $300. When I asked the associate why what they told me was false, I was told they have no control over what happens on the website with the financing. Contrary to the response given to this review, none of what was offered here was mentioned in the phone call.
The clarinet was brought in and told nothing wrong with it. I went to another music store and had my daughter buy a professional clarinet for not much more than Andy's wanted for the Intermediate. I specifically asked in my phone call if there are any incentives offered and was flat told no. The response by the owner is crafted to make you think they are great at service by mentioning the rental and the last service time, but if they were really that great, they would know that the clarinet is currently in their shop for regulation.
If it has only been 6 mos. since it was serviced and there is a problem with it where it has been brought in at least twice to be looked at since then, why was I told today on the phone that it has needed a regulation for 6 mos? I now know there is another option in MS and should it still not work when we get it back, it will go there. Yes, in the past we have done business with Andy's as they hinted at in their response, but when we are done with Andy's, I will be extremely happy.

Andy's Music is the premier music store in the Mobile area, possibly in the southeast. They stock a full complement of quality instruments for bands, from large symphonic concert to small rock and roll, and they absolutely have the finest repair shop anywhere around. There is no other place I am tempted to shop for band equipment and supplies in my opinion. The people there are the best.

Last time we went here we wanted to look around at the keyboards and try them out. However the staff literally told us we weren't allowed to play with them and the guy shut off the keyboard and closed it on me when I was playing. So rude staff and what's the point of having display instruments. I just went to guitar center instead.

I have twice bought their pick holders (which I really like having on my guitars--and I give some to friends). The second time, the post office didn't deliver them for 1.5 months. Andy's music refunded my payment, and when the holders arrived, I offered again to pay which they politely declined. Clearly an up front business looking to do right and have great products. I'll be coming back, or buying from them online.

In 2012 I purchased my first keyboard online. Lindsey was the person that helped answer my questions and gave me advice. I ordered a 66 key Yamaha. When it arrived it was damaged. I wanted to up grade to a 71 key and Lindsey was so helpful in processing the return, arranging shipment of the new model.and even gave me a discount on the new one due to the damage to the first keyboard.
Fast Forward: 2018 I have decided to upgrade to a digital piano so I turned to Andy's again, and Lindsey was there for me again. She listened to what I was looking for, the research I had done, and the two models I thinking about. Then, she sent me a side by side comparison chard for the two models. She agreed that I made the right choice based on what I was looking for and my goals.
I have been pleased with my two purchases in 6 years. I am thankful for the great customer service I received, and personally I think Andy's is lucky to have someone like Lindsey that cares about customers so much, Thank you again Andy's Music.

I always come here if I need something for my guitars! You get an honest opinion without them unnecessarily pushing something more expensive on you. They are very customer oriented and are ALWAYS willing to help. The prices may be a little more expensive than you would think, but guess what? You get what you pay for and everything I've purchased upon recommendation has been worthy of 100 stars. This is my ONLY stop for guitar needs!

I recently visited my Mother in Mobile, and drove past Andy's. I am always a sucker for a music store so I went back the next day to shop around. I was looking for a particular guitar that had been recommended to everyone listening to Tony P's Acoustic Letter. I was informed the store did not carry that particular guitar however, they showed me another guitar that was a step up from the one recommended.
Usually when that happens you would expect it to be more expensive.it wasn't it was actually less money. I e-mailed Tony when I got back to my house in Tennessee and he said do not pass go an if you can buy that guitar "you are getting a great deal". Daniel was the salesman that helped me initially and a lovely young lady (from Internet sales), helped me complete the purchase.
That was well over a month ago and just this weekend I received a thank you note from Andy's. Am I impressed? Yes it was the first time I've gotten a thank you note for buying a guitar. I also love the guitar. Thanks!
