This is such a terrific place. I recently attended a step-up event help here with my granddaughter who plays flute. They had more than 20 or so flutes on display! With company representatives on hand, we received terrific, honest advice and with no pressure. It was a great experience, and everyone at the event seemed to feel the same way.
There were school teachers there from several towns who had met their students there at the store to help them choose the best instrument for them.
We bought a beautiful Yamaha flute at a prices that after searching the internet and making multiple calls to other stores, could not be touched! (Not even close!).
Overall, a very impress Place, staffed with great people who are calm, patient and knowledgeable! I highly recommend!!

I brought my flute in because it had been damaged in Hurricane Ida. The flute was about 50 years old and fairly tarnished. AAA Band Rentals, not only cleaned it up, redid all the pads and made it look like new. And all this for far less than I had expected. It sounds incredible and looks beautiful. If you have an instrument that needs repair, this is the place to come!

Anyone renting an instrument should know about AAA Band Rentals. I didn't know this until I started talking to my kid's teachers, but apparently THIS is the place that most all the teachers recommend their students to go. I was a customer renting from a competitor, also in Norwalk. I had rented a violin and a cello for my middle school, and high school aged girls.

Their teachers had each complained several times that their instruments were not set up properly. We went in to get them adjusted, but were told by the technician there that "they were perfect." Insinuating that the teacher didn't know what he was talking about! Last week, I rented a flute for my youngest daughter. We brought it in to her private lesson. (My daughter was so proud of her NEW flute.) The teacher asked where we got it and when we told her, she made a face. Hmmm....She opened the instrument, assembled it, and proceeded to play it.

She took the instrument apart again and put it back in its case. She suggested that I get my money back and head over to AAA Band Rentals instead. I had never heard of them (Don't know how, I've lived in Norwalk for 10+ years now!)
Our returns were a bit of a nightmare! But my experience with AAA was incredible. A young man named Josh took amazing care of us.

Our private teacher is thrilled that we were given a new Yamaha flute! He also rented us 2 Eastman cellos that my kids have not put down since they got them. I'm actually thinking of buying the full sized one! My older daughter's private teacher said it's a really nice student cello. It's setup perfectly and the sound is noticeably better than what she had!

Overall, we had a great experience here and I'd recommend them to anyone! Their website is also great and the ability to communicate with them from their site in real time has already come in handy twice!

Michael and team did an excellent job on a trumpet tune. Very professional, knowledgeable and personable. 1 day turn around and had my 1973 Strad looking brand new! Highly recommend!

An awesome place for all-things musical. They're super friendly, obviously love what they do and it shows in the way they treat their customers. My son's cello rental is beautiful! They rented him a brand new Eastman cello, exactly the brand his teacher had suggested we get. My daughter's Yamaha clarinet rental is also brand new and in an awesome little case.

Their online rental system was super easy to navigate. They had everything ready for pickup upon my arrival. I received a text message within just a few minutes of submitting my order. All of the accessories the teacher requested were easily added to my online cart and were bagged and labeled with my kid's names on them, WOW! If you're online and trying to decide where to rent, (I shopped online too) I can honestly say that there are other companies offering cheaper introductory rates, but then they beat you up with a highly payment monthly. Josh even corrected my order based on where my kids go to school.

I picked the wrong book and he made sure I received the correct one! THANKS JOSH. Impressive! AAA Band and it's policies are totally transparent, the quality is terrific and they were terrific to deal with! I

Just want to give a quick shout out to everyone at AAA Band Rentals. Last year they had a quick turn around time on ordering a bass trombone for our son and Michael was so helpful in helping him decide what instrument he needed. Now our son is off at college, joined the band and needed his instrument right away. The instrument was evaluated, cleaned, lubricated and ready to go the same day!

Entire case cleaned too! We already brought it to our son and he is ready for practice this week. Did I mention AAA has bell covers for all instruments too? Each step of the process was easy (online portal to manage our account), smooth (super friendly and knowledgeable staff!), and error-free. When we received the viola, AAA Band Rentals had included a free ticket to the Norwalk Symphony for my son. Talk about getting him excited for music! That was above and beyond! Later in the year, they were exceptionally helpful in resetting the instrument's bridge when it became dislodged (as I realized is pretty common for string students in elementary school).

Apart from my son, AAA did a fantastic job cleaning and repairing my French horn, which had been out of commission for nearly 2 decades. They took the care needed to get it back in working order. I am so happy that we found AAA Band Rentals. As our oldest son embarks on his next musical adventure (band) and our youngest starts strings, I have no doubt that AAA will be there for us each step of the way.

Excellence! That's what comes to mind when I think of this company. I went into the Norwalk store last week 20 minutes before closing time, and Mike was smiling while he greeted myself & my teenage daughter & her best friend Evelyn. Super easy sign up- my daughter's best friend Evelyn needed a clarinet & I had heard about AAA Band Rentals through both girls' ex-band teacher Mr Beratis.

I'm so happy we chose to go there. We did everything through my iPhone, chose the instrument, signed up for monthly withdrawal of the $20 + tax, and even created an online portal acct so I can log on and have everything right there. I'm beyond thankful for AAA Band Rentals, and will certainly send anyone directly to them for all their instrument rentals or even if they have an instrument, but needs to be fixed, because they truly do care & have everything you need.

The instruments have each undergone a rigorous sanitization, have been marked off inside the case with a "sanitizer marker" that lets the renter see that it has passed all health code standards and is ready to be played with no issues. The clarinet looked brand new! Shiny, pristine, and even the very nice carrying case was flawless. I also purchased 3.0 strength clarinet reeds while there, which was just as simple to do as the initial sign-up & rental.

I will 100% be a loyal customer for all of my daughter's needs w/ her flute, piccolo and bass drum & also will be going through their company for any future rentals and assistance for my daughter's friends. Thank you Mike for excelling at helping kids achieve their musical talents.

I had several French horns I've sent in for dent repair, refurbishment, and ultrasonic cleaning and I have been very pleased with the results. So much that I play more often. I'm so thankful I found this excellent band rental company to rent a clarinet. It was in August & with Covid being a whole new way of life, I figured it would be difficult to rent a used instrument, and. I was wrong- it was EFFORTLESS! I was greeted by Mike Jr (the CEO/Owner) and completed everything online including creating my online profile to be able to pay/update account info/etc. Mike was superb with assisting me.

He rented us a FRESHLY CLEANED/Sanitized clarinet, with a sticker of authenticity proving it had gone through the utmost sanitization in order to be rented out. The Norwalk office was nice & protected against Covid & the entire transaction was so effortless. I also purchased reeds while I was there. I'll continue to be a loyal customer for all of my instrument needs from now on. I'm so grateful to be able to support AAA Band Rentals & to spread the word for my friends & acquaintances to also venture over to AAA Band Rentals for their own band rental instruments, equipment & supplies. I highly recommend this shop.

We have been renting a cello from AAA Band Rental for my daughter for several years now. The quality of the instrument is excellent and any issue we have had has been dealt with in a very expeditious manner. The customer service team is very knowledgeable and professional. This is an amazing family owned business with a long history great customer service. I have 2 sons who have been renting string instruments from AAA for years. We could not be happier. I love their rent-to-own options. They offer damage assurance, which is a serious money saver. My 8 year-old son cracked the neck on a $1000 cello. We paid a small deductible thanks to the damage assurance AAA recommended. The website gives great info on care and maintenance. Any questions I email or leave on voicemail are always responded to quickly. I won't rent anywhere else.
