We love making drums! Plain and simple. The Healing Drum Tribe has been building Ashiko hand drums for ten years. The knowledge to manifest these instruments from their raw materials was passed down from some good friends of ours in the year 2000. Since then, we have grown with the process and have become efficient at producing a superior quality product. Our drums are locally made out of a small shop in New Jersey, USA. We make our Ashiko drums out of the greatest tonewoods available. Each and every drum is made from hand with a lot of heart and hard work.
We make a large portion of our drums from reclaimed or recycled wood. We greatly enjoy what we do and are happy to share with you an instrument that has the ability to boost your immune system and connect with your inherent primal instincts of tribal togetherness.
Our mission is simple. To restore upon this land a renewed sense of healing. A type of healing that reaches back eons and connects our past, present and future together through spiritual resonance.
