Prices on new guitars and gear is always competitive. A fun place to browse. Huge selection of acoustic and electric guitars and a great place to consign gear.

Came to uncle Ike's from out of town. Having hunted for the perfect 12 string in my budget, he finally had the one. Picked it out, got it all set up and out the door. Friendly group with fantastic service. Would definitely recommend. Wide selection too! Everything from guitars to drums to pianos and bongos.you name it!

I had a great experience purchasing a Fender FSR Thinline Tele from Uncle Ike back in December 2020. Price was reasonable, order was processed within a day in the middle of busy Christmas season, the guitar was well packaged, and arrived within 5 days from IA to CA. Highly recommended!

I went in today just checking to see what drum sets they had and found a wide variety of used and new ranging in pricing. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, I have purchased guitars and equipment in the past and always left a happy customer. It's always fun to visit Uncle Ike's

This is the best music store I've ever been to, very customer service based and will help you with any and all questions you may have. I can't recommend this place enough to veteran musicians and absolute beginners alike.

Very easy to deal with. Has a good guitar inventory. Willing to provide fair trade-in allowance. Helpful but not overly so. Knowledgeble about products.

Great store if you are looking for variety, quality, and selection but staff isn't terribly personable or helpful. If you walk in knowing what you want, it's a great place and prices are reasonable but if you walk in trying to figure out if a new instrument is for you, don't expect much guidance. Also, they are one of the few places in town that will purchase equip for trade-in credit or cash but don't expect reasonable compensation. I get they're a business and need meat on the bone but every experience I've had with them, they don't come close to even 50% of used resale value.

I bought a 1979 Marshall amp from Uncle Ike's. Their service was stellar! It was packed very carefully, they even removed the tubes and packed them separately to ensure they would arrive safely. And the amp is a killer! A real vintage tone machine! I am very very pleased with my buying experience with Uncle Ike and would buy from them again in a heartbeat!

2 years ago my wife and I found a guitar on the web site for her son. We went to the store and it took a good 15 min before any of the staff even approached us. The salesman that finally did told us the guitar was out of stock and would need to be ordered. We were told it would take aprox 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and nothing. Went back to the store and was told they were still waiting for it to arrive. Waited another 2 weeks and went back again.

This time another employee informed us the guitar was not even shipped yet as the order was just placed. Said the hell with it and got my money back and ordered the same guitar online and had it in hand in 1 week. This was our first and last time shopping there. I will take my business elsewhere.

I rented speakers from Uncle Ike's for my wedding in Galena, IL. They were delivered and set up on Friday and dismantled and removed on Sunday morning. Kevin handled delivery and pickup and did it quickly and neatly. He tested the sound system with our laptops and it worked great! Overall it was an easy rental experience.
