Amazing work! I've been a local musician in town for a long time. I had an old guitar that had been given to me by my dad 15 years ago. The bridge had split and the bridge plate cracked. I had a friend tell me to go to another luthier in town first, and was told that it was "unfixable" and "it would make a nice centerpiece but would never play music again".
Although this guitar isn't the nicest, most expensive thing in the world, its sentimental value to me is priceless and even more so since my dad passed away in 2020. I was heartbroken to think I would never be able to play it again. After hearing that, I took it to Mcluthier's to get a second opinion, I didn't tell him I had took it to another place just a hour earlier, John came up with the same diagnosis and told me he could have it fixed in two weeks.
He had it fixed exactly on time, for an affordable price, and when he couldn't find a comparable bridge to the one that was on it, he made a new one by hand. I picked it up from the shop with new bridge pins and strings on it, and playing it when I got home, it sounded better than it ever has. I would recommend Mcluthiers to any of my friends and will come back here the next time I need work on any of my guitars and basses.

Mr. Mcluthierman (John) came recommended by my favorite and trusted music store (Tarpley's). I was disabled at that time and asked to him asked him to do the setup on my new Gibson Les Paul Traditional. I've played and worked on guitars for 44 years. John did excellent work at a fair price. Even though I am healthy now, he will work on all 5 of my guitars.

This shop is GREAT! I took my Paul Reed Smith in the day after Christmas with a set of the PRS Phase 3 locking tuners. My PRS had the Phase 1, and the routing for the screws were in the wrong place for the Phase 3, so they needed to be re-routed, and within an hour and a half, he had drilled out the holes, and had them fully installed. It only cost $25, and was perfectly symmetrical! He did a great job, and I would recommend this place to anyone in need of repair!
