My thanks to Jay and Mike the luthier. They recently Pleked my Partscaster and did a great job on it. Smoothed out the play on the neck. Very happy with the work. Guitar now plays great. Mike did a great job on the setup, and rounded off the edges of the frets. All my future guitars will be Pleked by Wolfe's. THANKS GUYS!

Bought a used guitar from here. Great gear at a great! This seller is fantastic! When there was an issue with shipping they went out of their way to fix the issue. They also reached out afterwards to ask how everything went. Great personal touch! Couldn't have asked for a better customer experience.

I was looking for a shop that had employees that valued their customers and had the type of inventory I like. I ended up putting a Melody Maker on Layaway. I learned they have the only plek machine in all Florida. They plekd that 63 Gibson and I saw the value in a purchase like that. The young lady what helped me was knowledgeable and helped me alot. I decided to read up on Wolfe Guitars and am impressed w their approach to selling guitars.

Stopped in and the folks were super nice and helpful. Got a used acoustic and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful despite the sale only being about $100. Nice selection of Breedlove and Heritage guitars.

Great place to buy gear, have your guitars worked on or just check out killer guitars amps and pedals. Wolfe has performed lots of setups for me plus new nuts and saddles, pot and pickup swaps, input jack repair and fret work including PLEKing several of my guitars. I once walked in with a 30-year old G&L I'd just got that the original nut slots had worn too low. Mike filled and filed all the slots in about 20min to like-new performance while I waited. Great place, can't recommend enough.

I recently purchased a used instrument from Wolfe Guitars after locating their online listing. I received the instrument 19 hours later, well packed in perfect condition. The item was exactly as described. This was by far the fastest and most professional service I had ever experienced in an online transaction. The salesman, Rob, was professional and patient on the telephone and answered every question I had regarding the instrument, which were many. I would do business with Wolfe Guitars again. I hope to visit their shop in person some time in the future. Well done and thank you for a great experience!

It's one thing to do hurried or amateur work that permanently caused my guitar irreparable damage, but to call me a liar is a whole other thing. I am neither cheap nor dishonest, especially when it comes to guitars which I make my living from, and I would never make such a bargain bin attempt to work one over on a local business during a pandemic.

Your luthier even admitted when I picked it up that this was "normal and happens all the time when you rip the frets out." Glad you kept the money. You obviously need it more than I do.

Wolfe Guitar is just outstanding. Everyone that works there is friendly and they treat inexpesive guitars like expensive guitars and beginers like pros. They have an amazing Plek system to set up and repair guitars. This is the way a business should be run. We are lucky to have them in Palm Beach County.

Impressive selection, friendly and knowledgeable service (without the unpleasant pressure of an upsell), and extremely reasonable prices. I had one of my guitars worked on here and I'm very happy with the result. I will definitely come back and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Sadly this place isn't what it once was, it WAS a customer satisfaction driven company. In the past I bought three guitars off them and an amp. Recently my wife wanted her bass guitar rewired and I thought I would take it back to the Wolfe where I bought it and let them give it some love. We dropped the guitar off and told them what we wanted done, the young lady there said "It will be done by the end of the week".

That was six weeks ago! The guitar was "Finished" last week and when we went to pick it up it my wife tried it out, the volume know was stiff and didn't want to turn and the tone knob really didn't work, even though the young man helping us swore up and down he could hear the difference (Minimal difference at best), he even turned the amp up louder so we could hear it wasn't working even louder. Lmao!

Quick side note, the guitar has all chrome hardware on it, the tech put a black switch in. Real classy. So we left them with the guitar and came back the following week. Yes it works correctly now. The young man was apologetic about us having to drive down from Stuart twice because of their mistake, I asked if he could show us how apologetic Wolfe guitar is on the bill. After conferring with someone we were informed basically the bill has been written up so the price is the price. That is the last money they will ever get from us!

After researching the state of FL, I found out the only PLEK machine was in Jupiter at Wolfe Guitars. I drove 500 miles round trip and had a great experience. Jay and the guys were very cordial and made me feel very welcome. Worth the drive. Having my 15 year old guitar PLEK'd was exactly what it needed (in addition to a new nut) to make it feel better than new. Highly recommend this shop.

I needed large box to ship an empty old style arch top case. They took me right away, packed it up for me while I waited. They did a great job! I have.bought other things from them & they've always been extremely helpful & knowledgeable.

Please do not be fooled by these good ratings. I was, and i brought them a 70's Ovation for frets and setup and had to bring it back tree times and i'm still not impressed. I also brought them a 70's Les Paul for an estimate to have it rewired and new pickups. When i brought it in they stated that this was right up their ally and would be no problem. After weekly follow up calls for about a month, every time we talked it was like starting all over again. Never did get any recommendations or an estimate. Mhhhhhhhh!

Just bought my first Breedlove guitar and love it! Exceptional quality at a great price. Jay and Rob were extremely helpful and patient in helping a beginner like myself choose a guitar. Guys were courteous and professional; plus it's always a positive to do business locally. Thanks Guys!

Not much interest in Tom getting back to me on a used Heritage Super Eagle I was looking at either as a trade or a purchase. Regarding the trade he responded to me via email that they don't buy guitars which made no sense at all! I then emailed him that I would like to purchase it cash with a 5 day approval in place of 2 day since I'm in Denver and need a little extra time and as a return customer hopefully would be given a bit more time. I never heard back from him and next day found the guitar was no longer for sale or sold.

Thanks to the great work by Mike today, my acoustic guitar is just sounding & playing great. Mike really went the extra mile & got forensic with the action & intonation. He carefully filed the nut, saddle & I believe even the bridge & got the intonation of my new Epiphone AJ-45ME acoustic really bang on. It came from the factory & was really playing sharp in the upper register & had some issues with the electronics resonating on certain chords. Gremlins that I believed in the right hands could be fixed. It's weird but I really like playing in tune. Fortunately Mike took care of all the issues! Phew, plays like a dream. It was so great to see a privately owned guitar shop with a great selection of high-end guitars, excellent service, and an even friendlier staff. It was well worth the trip from Fort Lauderdale I'll be back!

I saw a guitar listed by Wolfe on a reverb.com. I called the store to ask a few questions and spoke with the store manager, Tom C. I purchased the guitar along with shipping from FL to NY. A package arrived a week later, the guitar was not the one I ordered. I called the store and after speaking with Tom C. I got the impression that he smokes waaaaay too much pot to be managing a retail store.

He said they didn't have the guitar I wanted. Meanwhile, their listing on Reverb.com says they have 2 in stock. Several days later I received a return shipping label. I had to email and call the store to remind them that they have to process my refund. A few days later I received a partial refund, reduced by the shipping charge and a restocking fee. GRRRRR!

Jay is the best. The shop is the best. This is a shop full of great guitars with staff you can trust!

This is a great place! I've now purchased two beautiful guitars from Wolfe, a Heratage H535 and a Prestige Hybrid. They are beautiful, superior to Gibson in every way. I'm blessed to live so close to Wolfe Guitars, I'm in and out of there all the time.

I purchased sight unseen from a store I never visited or had known existed before searching the Net. It isn't as crazy as it seems because I did talk to the manufacture and Wolfe Guitars was highly recommended. The manufacture being Heritage Guitar. The instrument I was considering was not in stock in my area and from searching I suspect in most of the country. Wolfe Guitars had the instrument.

I worked with Jay Wolfe and then with Graham. They took the time over the phone to answer all of my questions. With some music background many decades ago I am coming into this as a total newbie. I was treated with the utmost respect. They did not talk down to me. I have had the experience walking into a music store or talking over the phone to people that act as if you are wasting their time.

Even if you are new to music you will be made to feel comfortable and welcomed at Wolfe. After purchasing the Guitar I realized I needed an Amp. Wolfe Guitars could have up sold me on many different items. Maybe to their detriment they never tried to upsell me. I called back to discuss the Amp and I did purchase the Amp from Wolfe Guitars. To say my experience with Wolfe was excellent is an understatement.

These guys are a class act. I just received the Guitar and Amp and everything they said they would do was done. Even the packaging was perfect. Do not be afraid of ordering from another State miles away from the store. I can't say enough about Wolfe Guitars. If there is any complaint it would be why are you not in Massachusetts. Thank you Jay and Graham for starting me off on this very positive musical journey that will now be part of my life.

These guys are great. Fine collection of new and used guitars from $99 to $15,000, and miscellaneous support gear - and broad selections of the relatively mundane like capo's and slides. Jay the Owner is a nice and friendly guy, and helpful, as is his British colleague Luigi.

I purchased a guitar from out of state. I spoke with Graham who promised new strings and a set up for 11's. He did neither, so I had that done locally for another $50, otherwise the guitar was as pictured. Low class move, Graham!

I've driven an hour to have two guitars serviced here by Jan. First, every employee here has been welcoming, helpful and friendly. Jan did an exceptional job working on my guitars, and even talked me through all of the work she was doing on my #1. Highly recommended!
