We've provided quality musical instrument sales and service to thousands of satisfied customers. We sell new & used band and orchestral instruments, and carry popular accessories for the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, percussion and more. We take great pride in supporting the music programs of numerous local school districts.

Jim opened Horn Hospital, LLC in 1979. He began his career as a band instrument technician in 1976 as a student at Western Iowa College in Sioux City, Iowa. After finishing the course of study in band instrument repair, Jim took a job as a shop technician with a full-line music store in Enid, Oklahoma.
Our instrument rental program is a "lease-to-purchase" program. This is an affordable way for beginning music students to take pride in their own musical instruments. Available musical instruments that we offer: alto saxophone, baritone, clarinet, cello, drum kit, flute, french horn, oboe, percussion kit, tenor saxophone, trombone, trumpet, viola and violin. I have taken my instruments here for years for service. Quality repairs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have also purchased an instrument and accessories. Fair prices. I sent a old but nice Trumpet up to the Horn Hospital to get it back in shape for my son. Was quoted around $200.00 and justified spending that because as a Restoration specialist, I prefer to restore old good pieces rather than buy new. The Trumpet came back looking perfect and plays wonderful. The bill was 12 dollars less than the quote which was a surprise. These people deliver and should be applauded for great workmanship.

Jim Haunstein and his crew are probably the most knowledgeable instrument repairmen in this area. It's worth the drive up Route 850 (11 miles) from Marysville to get to them. They do offer used band instruments at Great values and even will discount new band instruments to compete with the internet. If you want superb customer service and smiling faces please visit these people. You won't regret it.
