Great place to go for bluegrass, fiddles, friendship, and fun.

Met some very warm hearted people here. Go local, be an attendee in their shows and contribute. There are some very talented young and old country music connoisseurs playing. Don't forget to ask the receptionists to let you have a peek in the shop. If you love stringed instruments, you might like one there.

Awesome. Walked in and there was a picking session going on! To quote Byron Berline, who was quoting Bill Monroe. "IT DON'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT"

It was my first time in the store. Byron is knowledgeable and willing to help. I described what I was looking for and he found exactly what I wanted. We went through several violins. I was about to settle on one I loved that was slightly over budget but I was willing to overspend, until he started digging in a corner and pulled out this old and abused violin.

It had been repaired several times and still needs a little work put into it. It was under budget. When he pulled it out he said, "I bet you'll really like this one." He was right. It was like when olivander said, "I wonder." I felt like Harry picking up his wand for the first time. The point I'm making is that when you go into the store it is all about you and with the wide selection you are guaranteed to find something you love.

I won't shop for a violin anywhere else. There is a reason this store is highly recommended in the industry. I am in the church and classical scene. These guys aren't exclusive to bluegrass or country.

Current ticket prices for the Saturday evening show are $15. The band does two sets with a half hour break in between. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening. The music shop is also open during the week, and offers CDs, instructional books and of course fiddles, mandolins, guitars and other stringed instruments. Stop by to shop or just say hi.

It's always fun to visit Guthrie's Double Stop Fiddle Shop. Nice selection of fiddles and some other acoustic instruments and Byron Berline is so knowledgeable about the music and instruments. He's always got a great story or two to share.

I was most impressed with the way Byron has developed young musicians, We went to one of his shows last night and had a wonderful time. The best part was watching the young people perform. I think that shop is a blessing. Charles Gray

It was much smaller than pictures lead me to believe. However the back room had some amazing pieces with lots of history. They were very good about sharing information and teaching about things to look for when investing. Thank you!
