The great thing is that I can play for joy; play when times are rough; and play, just for the sake of playing. There is nothing like a Triplett harp. They are matchless for their tone and beauty. I've had a Triplett harp for many years, and of all the harps I own my Celtic 34 is the most full-bodied and resonant. Its fine craftsmanship allows me to gain the maximum sound output with a minimum effort. I have never played a harp that talks to me the way this does- it seems to invite me to try different things.
Services
The skill, love and craftsmanship of the men and women building them can be found in every detail of every harp. I have played Triplett harps on every single recording and every live show I've ever done. Love the sound, love the feel. I am always at home on a Triplett harp. Steve Triplett started Santa Barbara Luthiery in the late 1970's where he built guitars and mandolins. As a musician and artist, he was fascinated by the beauty and mystique of the Celtic harp and made his first 34 string model in 1980.
Every Triplett Harp is made from the highest quality products available. We use the premier grade materials made in the USA which includes our cases and strings. Our sharpening levers are manufactured in France by Camac harps. We pride ourselves in controlling all aspects of the finished product our customers receive, from the strings to the cases, we make each part with precision at our shop.
Most of our harps come with our custom fitted cordura foldable cases that are made here at our factory. Both the Zephyr 22 and the Christina 25 have the option of the backpack case to make travel easier. On our larger harps, the wheel assemblies are fantastic if you are planning to take your harp out and about.
We offer our support via phone, email and technical videos to help make the experience of owning a Triplett harp an enjoyable one. We understand that not everyone feels comfortable approaching technical issues with their harp for the first time so we are here to answer all your questions. We have easy to understand video instructions that include stringing the harp and re-seating a tuning pin, tying a string knot (bunny loop) and putting on the harp case correctly; our staff provides patient, helpful assistance in order for you to be successful.

I have my one harp from Triplett harps and have been amazed by their love for their craft and their care for my instrument. I have gone in several times to pick up new strings and have been treated so incredibly well. They're truly amazing craftsmen and I haven't found another harp with the warmth and tone that my Triplett harp has.

This is by far one of the best instrument builders an wood working shops on the west coast. I took my woodshop class here on a field trip.
