As soon as I walked in, the staff was quick to assist me which was nice. However, after taking a look around, I noticed that their selection of pianos was very limited. I was informed that they only carry Kawai brand pianos, which was not exactly what I had in mind. When I told the gentleman I would prefer another brand, he quickly mentioned I should go to Costco instead and rushed me out of the shop.

While price point wasn't an issue for me, I just happened to already know what I was looking for, so I felt a little judged. If you're an advanced concert piano player, you might be interested in the sale he was having, but otherwise I would recommend Jim's Music for a wider selection.

Stopped by today with my daughter to get some ideas about buying a piano, as I have no clue what to look for. Steve explained everything in so much detail, he was very pleasant and also very kind to my daughter. I wanted to go back with my husband later, and there was no pressure to buy right now unlike some places that make you feel bad. I will definitely stop by with my husband later. Finally got the call for rescheduling and got the piano tuned today. As of now, 3.75 stars for my overall experience with Kim's Piano, for trying their best to make unhappy customer satisfied.

We recently bought a new Kauai piano from Benjamin at Kim's Piano. All I can say was their service and help with the purchase was exceptional. We had shopped around several stores for the right piano for my son. We were in the area and called Kim's to see if they were still open. Benjamin answered the phone, and he told us that they normally close at 6:00pm, but he would wait around for us until we arrived, which was like 6:20pm. Benjamin showed us a selection of pianos, and without any pressure, advised us on different options.

We decided to go away and think about it, since this was a multi-thousand dollar purchase. Benjamin offered us interest free financing, which was a great incentive. We decided to go with the Kauai piano because of the keyboard action and the sound was excellent. When we picked up the piano, the kind lady helped us load the piano in the car. You know the quality of a place when you ask for recommendations and everyone around you points you to the same place! Kim's Piano is one of those places! Everyone around me and my wife who don't know one another had recommend Kim's Piano and I know the reason why. Initially I had called asking about the possibility of repairing our existing Piano when Benjamin the owner gave me the number of his tuner/repairman it turned out to be his Uncle Steve who is my existing tuner.

I know Mr. Steve as he is very knowledgeable about all Pianos. I take his word as bible as he's given me information and when I look it up it's exactly as he said. So I know that he's not the type of person to say anything to just make a sale. Met with Steve to buy a used piano. I told him my budget and he found pianos that matched what I wanted. He took so much time with my daughter and myself informing us about what to look for in any piano. It was a great education on pianos. We didn't end up buying a piano here but I still wanted to leave a review because Steve was that great!

Benjamin Kim and his staff are extremely knowledgable, friendly, and most importantly honest. I went to every piano shop in Los Angeles, and even flew out of state to see a couple more. In the end, Kim's piano won my business. They stock every piano you can dream of, the showrooms are clean and their pianos well prepped. They are not pushy and they truly want to help you get you the piano that's right for you.

Knowing I wanted to buy a new Kawai GX2, the challenge was to find an honorable store to buy from. Benjamin Kim is this person. He is very patient and understood my special requirements that are beyond the typical customer's. He met them all. Delivery was prompt and by a very skilled team (not 2 guys with an old truck) who checked the basics after delivery. Everything was to my satisfaction. Boston Baby Grand Piano - SOLD! With the decision to move out of California, the overhead of moving my baby grand piano was too much additional stress and I decided to sell it. I spoke with three different companies and it was a very easy decision to work with Benjamin at Kim's Piano. It was sad to say goodbye to a much loved piano, but Benjamin made the process very simple and stress free.

Ben helped me pick out a new upright piano for my home. I went with a Kawai. He was kind enough to let me play various models for almost an hour before I made my final decision. The piano was delivered in two days and everything went better than expected. No glitches whatsoever. His referred piano tuner is coming out to tune and adjust my piano after it has had time to settle into my home. The price was fair and I would definitely recommend Kim's Piano for the pricing, service and available selection (they had all sorts of models and sizes).

We bought a pre-owned YAMAHA piano from Kim's piano four years ago. The piano is super good, we all love it. My son has been practicing with it all these years and got a few medals for the county-wide piano performance competitions. The manager/owner of Kim's piano Benjamin is very friendly and reliable. When we were moving out of the state and called in for trade-in possibilities, we had an unpleasant with one of the employees. Benjamin called back shortly and apologized. He also provided bona fide solutions to help solve our problems. If you'd like to purchase pianos, Kim's piano is a very good choice and remember to talk to Benjamin.

I rarely write reviews because I don't come across a lot of businesses worthy of the effort. Today, I did, and I would give this business 10 stars if I can. It was a lifelong dream of mine to own a baby grand piano. I never lived in a residence big enough to fit one, until recently. I also never bought a piano, so I started the process feeling very intimidated. Fortunately, I came across Kim's Piano, and the fabulous Benjamin Kim.

He walked me through the features of the pianos I was considering, helped me process all the information, and gave me a very good price for the piano I ultimately selected. He did all this in a very professional way, without any undue pressure just to make a sale. He assured me that with the piano I'm buying comes with the backing and support of his company that lasts more than the transaction.
