But having expert, hands-on instruction accelerates learning, gives you someone to build a rapport with, and plugs you into a local community who's supporting your growth every step of the way. Taking lessons is great, but building friendships and sharing the joys of new achievements? That's what makes it so worthwhile!
What first got you interested in guitar? It's a question that comes up often, because it can shape what you play, style of preferred music, and even preferred teaching style with guitar lessons! No matter if you're looking to learn for the first time or have been playing for years, our staff of professionals - and we mean has real experience playing for people, not just teaching - can help.
Leveraging 88 keys to their fullest potential and working well with nearly any other instrument. From jazz to rock, classical to reggae (and more), our staff has decades of experience teaching and playing for live audiences of all sizes. And no matter your preferred style, we can help you grow in your piano-playing abilities.
Sure, it's most often associated with a concierto, orchestra, or smaller group such as a string quartet - and many famous violinists have been known for their solo acts, as well. But you'll find the acoustics of a violin in so much more: rock, country, hip hop, and blue just to name a few. While this is a common term, the Suzuki violin actually isn't a different type of instrument - it's a different teaching style. It involves a lot more parental involvement and focus at home to accentuate learning found in lessons.

It's always a pleasure doing business with them they're very courteous and professional. They have service both for my saxophones Alto & Tenor. I just purchased a guitar from them and I'm very please with this sound in this playability. I would encourage anyone looking for a musical instruments or lessons to stop by and chat them up they're great folk.

This was the best day for my daughter. She loved learning the violin better than the piano. Mr. Young and Mikey were kind and friendly to my child by fixing up her violin to play and given her a personal caring 1st lesson. Looking forward to more lessons.

I wanted to take piano lessons and saw that this school was only a few miles away. Pulled in the parking lot and instantly got bad vibes by the big Trump flag mounted between all the flags. Anyone's political party is there choice but I rather not go to any business that wants to seclude anyone or a political group. Went to Guitar Center where the vibe is way more welcoming.

This is an excellent place for anyone looking to learn about music. Mr. Young is truly committed to helping anyone experience the joy of music. There are plenty of opportunities to learn here in a private or more public setting. There are also many free opportunities to join in a group session.

My daughter takes lessons here and I LOVE her teacher. And YAMS does an annual recital to show off the students' hard work. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the owner of the school/store publicly advertised his political views during election season. I understand his right to freedom of speech, but i wish that as a professional, he didn't share his opinion oncontroversial topics.

Went in to pick up a guitar for my daughter for under $200. Walked out with a guitar, a bag, and some accessories for $167. They sized one up for and offered a free lesson. Great going there.

Very very disappointed. He opens up at 11:00 am then turns around and goes to lunch at 11:30. It is now 2:11 pm and he is still at lunch. How do you manage to stay in business when you are not there? I have an instrument that has to be picked up today and he is no where to be found. There isn't even another contact number on the door to call. My son has to have his instrument in the morning at school for band class.

He doesn't open up until 11:00 in the morning. By then my son will have missed his band class at school. Will NEVER do business with him again. I will pay more somewhere else just so I can have great customer service and someone there at the hours posted on the door.
